SEC Record Predictions

It's crazy how good the conference is this year. I watched Vandy (probably 15th highest ranked SEC team) pretty well dominate TCU in Fort Worth, followed by Texas A&M thrashing Texas Tech, in a double header a couple of weeks ago. TCU and Texas Tech expect to make the NCAA, so it's not like those two are pushovers. South Carolina would probably be ranked 16th in the SEC, and they have wins over BC and Virginia Tech.

I posted this last week and will stick with it. SEC appears to be very very hard.

The SEC is brutal this year. Appears to be perhaps the best it's ever been. I think 7 total losses heading into the SEC Tourney. Agree with 24-7. Good for a 2 seed.

Will add this. I think we will win a couple that perhaps we shouldn't but also lose a couple that maybe on paper we shouldn't.

11-7
And i think that might be good for 3rd behind Auburn and UT and maybe in line for a 2/3 seed in the NCAAs
I think 7 conference losses is about right
1 SEC tournament loss
1 NCAA tournament loss
I think we finish up with 10 losses. which I think is a pretty damn good year ... all things considered !!
NOTE: This is the WORST that I think we'll do. Clearly, we may certainly end up with fewer losses on the year, hopefully so.
GO CATS !!

12-6 in conference. Probably a few tough road losses such as at Alabama or Tennessee. We’ll take our lumps in conference play but I feel good about this team heading into it. 24-7 record into the SEC Tournament. I feel like we will get a 2-3 seed in the NCAA Tournament and go at least to the Sweet 16.

12-6, possibly 11-7
1 to 0 losses in Rupp, 5-6 losses on road
1 game out of tie for 1st place.
Those current 5 ranked in the top 7 will all lose 5-7 SEC games.

It will come down to injuries, imo. UK needs to keep the injury bug at bay and work on team defense and rebounding to beat the better teams in the SEC. No predictions as I am not very accurate in making them, especially this year. Would love to see this squad advance in the SEC and NCAA tourneys further than in the recent past as the coaching is a significant upgrade…GBB!
