UK @ A&M: UK
Bama @ UT: Bama.
Vandy @ Ark: Ark.
SC @ Miss: SC
Mizz @ AU: AU
MSU @ FL: FL
GA @ LSU: LSU

I will freely admit that I have no faith in the Alabama or SC predictions...I tend to go with the home teams in the SEC, but I feel Alabama needs to win this game today if they are to be taken seriously as a potential NCAA tournament team IMO. I would actually love to see Ole Miss beat SC, but after playing UK most teams lose their next game in conference it seems. I also just took the home team in the AU vs. Missouri match up, as I feel like Missouri is in a classic let down situation now.

I am looking forward to LSU/UGA. Loser goes to 0-2 and I feel like both of those teams can contend for the tourney double bye meaning they finish top 4 in the league. Martin has SC on the rise but might be a year away, a road win at the Tad Pad after a home loss to the Gators would be a nice bounce back for them.

I concur. I just have to go with LSU at home.

To Desperado, I agree, it should be fun. UT will probably win, I just never root for UT in anything so maybe I"m just hoping Bama wins it.

I'm lousy at predictions anyway, and it's only 1 game into the SEC season so I'll spare you. The game of most interest to me is the Vandy at Arkansas game. If Ark. is a top 25 team they should win that one at home. Or is Vandy better then we think? Also the 'Bama/UT game. Again, if 'Bama is to become a top 25 team they need to win this one on the road. LSU and Georgia next. If LSU wants to contend they need this one. Same for Georgia.

Also a number of interesting, fairly big games in other conferences today. I know there are NFL playoffs, and college football has it's crown jewel game Monday, but it's full on college basketball season now.

To be honest with you Boulder, the NFL playoffs bore me, at least the AFC playoffs do. I'd be highly shocked if it is anything other than the usual BORING Brady vs. Manning match up to go to the Super Bowl. I'm upset Rodgers is not at full strength, as that might carry the lucky Boys to a victory this weekend. I still say it is Seattle's to lose again.

Back on b-ball, I am hoping Vandy gets a comeuppance today. I'm getting a bit tired of the Nashville media touting them when they have not beaten anyone to deserve the respect some are giving them.

OK, I will go with

UK (by how much is the only question)
Bama (just seems like UT has too short a bench now and Bama seems to be finding itself)
Ark (too strong at home)
Ole Miss (SC is better but still not there, Ole Miss won't be UK game good but good enough)
Auburn (yuck game, IMO)
UF (no brainer this time)
LSU (must win for them at home but agree with others this could be SEC game of the day)

UK @ A&M
UK wins 74-57

Bama @ UT
Alabama I guess. If UT had just a little more I'd pick them

Vandy @ Ark
Ark wins at home by 15 or so

SC @ Miss
Ole Miss in a close one. Would not shock me to see OM not play 1/4 as good as they did Tuesday.

Mizz @ AU
Auburn at home between two not very good teams

MSU @ FL
FL because MSU is a hot mess

GA @ LSU
UGA for the upset of LSU at home

UK a PO'ed bunch of Cats ain't a good thing to deal with
UT ugly home win
Ark too much talent
SC the UK effect
AU Pearle gets win
UF even the Gators can't screw this one up
UGA loser is almost done UGA wants it more

The SEC is a crap shoot for everyone not named UK this year, the beat goes on.

SC @ Miss
By far the most interesting to me. Does Ole Miss come back flat after taking us to OT? How does formerly red hot USC play after the loss at home to Florida.? I can't call it.
