I don't know who wins, but I sure as hell wouldn't trade Ulis for anyone else in the conference. I love me some Tyler Ulis.
He definitely should be. I don't see how anybody could think Ben Simmons has a bigger impact on LSU than Ulis does for us. Its kinda like in MLB. I don't believe a player on a bad team should get named MVP. Don't get me wrong Simmons is a great player. but HE IS NOT a once in a generation type player. He'll be good in the NBA, but he's no freaking LeBron. He's no freaking KD. He cant shoot 3's and if he's gonna play SF in the NBA he needs to be a capable shooter. He's a worse 3pt shooter or as bad as Briscoe. Now he'll probably put up 16pts, 8rbs, 4ast in the NBA, but I don't see him dominating and averaging 22pts, 12rbs, 5ast or nothing. I don't like him btw. In case nobody could tell.

Isn't it funny that most of the new coaches get along with Calipari or have a cordial relationship. Barnes Avery J. Martin are all pretty close to him.
Ben Simmons is a great talent no question and will be a great pro but no one does more for their team than Tyler Ulis...just think for a minute where we would be without his leadership a two year guy on Cals team is a gray beard veteran. Speakin of veterans everyone on here needs to read the Vietnam books on fighter pilots and the role they played for their country and flew day after day into a enemy that not only knew they were coming but also what time they were coming "willievic" is one of those men my hat is off to him player of the year pales in comparison to him and those like him.
