SEC favored in 9 of the 10 games tonight.
UL (surprisingly over #23 Ole Miss) is the only ACC favorite tonight.
But tomorrow I expect ACC to be favored in 3-4 of those 6 games.

Bama at UNC - probably Bama by 1 but not sure

Virginia at UF - UF by 5-10

Pitt at MSU - maybe a pick em

Vandy at Va Tech - Vandy by 3-5 pts

Auburn at Duke - Duke by 3-5 pts

Texas at NC St - pick em?

It’s a mix. Regardless of Cal though, no UK fan should ever be pulling for Ark.
Over Duke or UNC, absolutely a UK fan should pull for Ark (unless they live in Ark).
Against Miami, I can see not caring if Miami wins or loses.
UT will always be my most disliked SEC team, but in the challenge like this I even want them to win, as it helps our SOS AND it gives the finger to the ACC if the SEC can steam roll them like I think/hope.

I use to root for SEC teams, but gave that up over the years. I really wouldn’t give a care if duke or unc beat Ark (with or without Cal), why should I? They can lose every game.

Do y’all just hate Cal now?

I always liked him, just felt like he was a bit of a buffoon when it came to offense.

Pope seems like a great fit there now.
Do I just hate Cal now? No. I don’t hate a lot of specific people. Just a couple, and really only for very personal reasons. I have disliked Cal for quite some time.

I don't hate the guy, but his last several years were so frustrating and the manner in which he left put us WAY behind the 8 ball as far as having an opportunity for good recruits/transfers/coaching options. Almost like it was intentional. I do hope he loses :D

Screw the league…they hate us in football and especially in basketball. Other SEC teams do not support the league if Kentucky represents it in a game.
When we reach the final 4, natty, or high profile win…other SEC teams openly root against us…F ‘em.

It's about improving our SOS due to league non-conf wins. So it's not about supporting the league, it's about our own best interest.

Hate to admit it but this is the way I feel about things now. I used to pull for any SEC team that wasn't playing against us, but now I only pull for them if it helps us in some way or makes a win over them look better. Otherwise screw this whole league.

I know I'm going to sound like an old man but why is California and Mizzou at 7? Mizzou is Central Time. UK and Clemson, both Eastern Time Zones start at 9:30 - on a Tuesday night

That's some bullshxx

Not me, always root for UK outside of
league play. During league play, I usually follow the year to determine who pull for.

But… I’m also and SEC homer who pulls for all of the sec teams.

Eh, I think most SEC fans are cool with UK fans in certain conditions.

You're too close to the fire and can't see the forest for the trees due to your bias.

We get along great with some UK regd on the UF board, and they aren't brown nosers.

I am going to once again try to explain this. Every time I tried to explain it before the responses proved my point, and even worse.

Ready? Here it is....the key for more regard and more respect.....

Give humble credit for a win to programs beat you. I'm sick and tired of hearing the ref excuse. UK is the football Alabama version ...but in basketball. Not one time in 30 years have I hear or read Alabama fans say after a loss....

"It was the refs"

Or

"We are their superbowl"

(Unless it's for Auburn).

Or

"your attendance"

Yet, I've read and heard it thousands and thousands of times when UK loses. It's kind of a tradition if UK has a respectable season.

I've never ever seen a single person here admit that UF simply was the better team, even for ONE night, and that it wasn't an anomaly.

Bama fans can give credit and compliments without a backhand slap on the mouth. Try it some time.

Give the Bama fans 3 or 4 years of losing, you’ll see that the Bama fans are just like us and everybody else. It’s easy being a good winner. Now being a good loser??????????

Alabama wasnt doing great for 30 years straight.....

Good season or bad season, streak or not, I've seen bama give kudos for a win plenty of times without the backslap.

The only time I've seen it in person or online from UK was from two posters of the uf board. The same guys...... nowhere else and definitely not in-person.

I believe that the SEC won 9 out of the 10 games against the ACC last night. Sadly the only loss was our loss to Clemson. Just like this past weekend rivalry week in college football. The SEC beat the ACC in 3 out of the 4 games. Sadly the only loss was our loss to Louisville.

well guys we had already beaten duke so the SEC is really 10-1 against the ACC . Then FLorida is 2-0 already against the ACC, Auburn beat UNC , MSU beat SMU , Texas beat Syracuse, Vandy beat California, South Carolina last week beat V-Tech, Georgia previously beat G-Tech , OU beat Louisville, and Tenn was already 2-0 against the ACC.

LSU did lose to Pitt so that means the 2 teams that have lost to the ACC had also prior beaten an ACC team also and the overall record up til this moment before Wednesday's games is SEC- 22 ACC-2

thats an insane ownage. I think Bama will face the same screw job from the refs we did, so will Auburn and Texas so I expect the ACC to pick up at least 3 wins tonight but they could win all of them tonight and it would still the SEC having owned the ACC so far this year.
