Season is over

We will be lucky to make the tournament with the schedule we have coming up. We will be favored in 2 maybe 3 of our up coming 9 games, assuming we lose tonight we are likely looking at finishing 4-6 ish and a 19-12 finish. Likely a bubble team.

Some of you are still stuck on that team you saw when we were 100% healthy, that team is gone.
Really, not much of a fan are you.

The season definitely isn't over, but I still think the SEC ceiling is 9-9, with 8-10 as not out of the question. Too many tough opponents coming up on the schedule.

LSU looks like a win (that's 6 SEC wins).
Split one of the road games against Texas/OU (7 wins).
Beat Tennessee Tuesday (8).
Beat Vanderbilt at Rupp (9).

Then we lose at Missouri, against Auburn, at Alabama, and drop 1/2 against OU/Texas.

9-9 looks realistic. That nets us a top 5 seed. No shame in that in year #1 of a complete rebuild.

Stating the reality isn't quitting. Need to win the favored games coming up and we will be in a decent spot. IF we can win 1 against TN, AU, or Bama that will also go a long way.
Your thread states" THE SEASON IS OVER " am I missing something ? You threw the towel in why are you still here ? For each his own

How do you equate that post on a UK message board after getting blown out by Ole Miss to your statement. Just silly.
The SEC is the toughest league in college basketball, and I mean in the last 20 years UK has been injured so losing to Ole Miss is not the end of the season. UK has more quad one wins than any team in the country, has wins over two of the projected number one seeds right now and just needs to pick up a couple more wins, hell there have been teams selected to the NCAA with 18-12 records in the past.
