I like the guy a lot. Even though he is a bruin at heart, he really seems to stick up for us and the sec every chance he gets. Great replacement for Dykes I thought.

Yep, can't complain about him. He was speaking well of the league, of UK, of Calipari, and of the SEC recruits all night. He's quickly becoming the SEC guru for ESPN.

The other guys kept pimping the other conferences and teams, but Farnham had plenty to work with on the floor. When you watched that game tonight, the 4 guys who jump out at you are probably Porter, Sexton, Vanderbilt, and Bamba. 3 out of 4 are playing in the SEC and Bamba may be also. And the SEC has 20 ESPN 100 recruits, the most of any conference. It's hard not to notice these things.

Yea the sec is on a major rise right now. I expect the conference schedule to be a war next year. Farnham actually has us at number 1 next year! Though I expect us to be more around 6-10, atleast to start the season. We will be way too young to be the best that quick. Anyways, I am thinking the SEC will have 7 to 9 teams getting in the tournament next year, as I think we may be the best conference in the country next year.

To me tho it's much like how Jimmy Dykes was tho.

The guys that typically do SEC games, stick up for the SEC.

Much like the others stick up for the conferences they do.

I like him as well. Sincere and a good guy to drink a couple beers with. Met him briefly after a game and he was a good dude. Likes UK

I like him better than Dykes though. It got to the point that Dykes was hyper-critical of UK.

All of that stuff of calling James Young the worst passer in college basketball - that was taking it too far, imo.

I don't know if Dykes did it because he really liked us and wanted us to play better, or if a producer was in his ear. But I got tired of him.
