He might as well stay in Dublin and drink that free beer! Lol
Welcome to big boy footballWhat happened to the Scott Frost that won a National Championship at Central Florida?
Used to get you fired. Scott Frost has a worse record than Joker and has been there going on 5 years. They lost a ton of close games last year and are carrying on the proud tradition so far. Can't see any way they get back to glory years. With a top coach, maybe get to 8 wins/yr which gets you fired at NE.

He’s like how Louisville was when they beat up on scrub teams every week in whatever scrub conference they were in. Their record was way better than their team was. Scott Frost is the same. What happened to the Scott Frost that won a National Championship at Central Florida?

National Championship? Central Florida? Did I miss something????What happened to the Scott Frost that won a National Championship at Central Florida?
Simple, at UCF 80% of his roster was probably from Florida. a 3 star player in Florida is probably better than 99% of the players from Nebraska. What happened to the Scott Frost that won a National Championship at Central Florida?
Same for Frank Solich before him, now they're paying for it.Nebraska fired Bo Pelini who had three 10-win seasons there and won 9 the other four seasons. Also never had a losing record in the Big 12 or Big 10.
I never expected a Saban, but I did think he would make them respectable again. I was definitely wrong on this one.Guy really took a winless team to undefeated. Then went to his alma mater and completely flopped. It really defies explanation
I thought he was a slam dunk hire. His pedigree was perfect (so I thought);I never expected a Saban, but I did think he would make them respectable again. I was definitely wrong on this one.
It’s not that simple. What he did at UCF was nothing short of amazing.Simple, at UCF 80% of his roster was probably from Florida. a 3 star player in Florida is probably better than 99% of the players from Nebraska.
For some reason, Osborne is often the forgotten coach when talking about the greatest coaches ever. 25 seasons at Nebraska, 3 national championships, 21 top 10 finishes and went to the Cotton, Fiesta or Orange Bowl in 21 of 25 seasons. They were an absolute power.Kind of sad, their back-to-back title teams in the mid-90’s were absolutely dominant. Tommie Frazier, Lawrence Phillips, Grant Wistrom, etc. No gimmicks, just lined up and physically manhandled opponents on both sides of the ball.
Why? He pulled in 2 good years at American Athl conference.....what is so amazing about that? It’s not that simple. What he did at UCF was nothing short of amazing.
They were 0-12 the year before he took over. They went 13-0 in his second season. That’s amazing. Why? He pulled in 2 good years at American Athl conference.....what is so amazing about that?
- The conference is Cincy, Tulsa, USF, UCF, Temple, UConn, Navy, Houston, SMU, Tulane, Temple, Memphis. Only Memphis, Cincy (lately) and UCF have a pulse ever. Temple, Uconn, Tulane are some of the worst programs there are. Navy is military program. etc....Frost outscored people in that bullcrap conference and you get to legit footballl and you can't have 5 seconds to throw it all the place.
They need a new steroid supply that can't be traced. That was the 12th man for a lot of those husker teams back in the day. They lost a ton of close games last year and are carrying on the proud tradition so far. Can't see any way they get back to glory years. With a top coach, maybe get to 8 wins/yr which gets you fired at NE.
it really is simple. Football players make football coaches. There are so many players to choose from thereIt’s not that simple. What he did at UCF was nothing short of amazing.
Be worried
Why wouldn't the Huskers offer Stoops $10M/yr in a couple months, and say "build us UP like you did Kentucky!"
Who else could they chase who has made a more hopeless situation a winner??
