They will check him via Committee. This is where our stupid crazy depth comes into play:Who are we going to have on Flagg?
This; he's not conditioned to the college game yet. Most of our dudes are or at least have played high level D1 ball.Make it a track meet, and throw different bodies at him. Tire and wear him down all game.
Huge advantage that literally no one has brought up until you. This; he's not conditioned to the college game yet. Most of our dudes are or at least have played high level D1 ball.
That's a very weird thing to be THAT concerned about. Scheyer also made it sound like it was a big mistake by the training staff.
Are they worried about his lower body? Are they worried that if Flagg goes down, that their team is screwed (from a perspective of winning a Final 4)? Does Scheyer know if this season doesn't go well, he's going to start to be on the hot seat?
Not sure if it will matter or not. We will see.Huge advantage that literally no one has brought up until you.
I mean cramps happen. I’m not coddling them but playing ball is not like walking to the end of the block. They should be able to figure most of them out though.Someone on the training staff needs to be fired if an 18-19 year old young man is having cramping issues. Playing in air conditioned arenas??!! TV timeouts every few minutes plus team timeouts??!! Stoppages for fouls called.....given its Duke that's every 30 seconds or so.
We are a horrible match up for the young Devils esp this early in the season. Not sure if it will matter or not. We will see.
Maybe Flagg hasn’t had to work that hard in High School and the off-season? The level of game he’s accustomed to has probably come too easy for him and he’s now getting pushed more than ever before?Someone on the training staff needs to be fired if an 18-19 year old young man is having cramping issues. Some players are more prone to them than others. Flagg may be one of those.I mean cramps happen. I’m not coddling them but playing ball is not like walking to the end of the block. They should be able to figure most of them out though.
We might play something we have not seen much. I had to look it up but I think it’s called a “zone” ?Who are we going to have on Flagg?
Or maybe, just maybe he is giving excuses because he fears the University of Kentucky is about to blitz Duke in Catlanta? If I were a dukie, I would question why the coach is saying this in public about a week into the season. Either this is some type of gamesmanship, which seems unlikely, or he doesn’t feel Flagg is putting in the work outside of games.
Fester speaks the truth ya’ll.Maybe Flagg hasn’t had to work that hard in High School and the off-season? The level of game he’s accustomed to has probably come too easy for him and he’s now getting pushed more than ever before?
Kentucky will run this Duke team in the ground and pull away late for a double digit win.
I think it’ll be a competitive game, but maybe some truth to it. That gives me some Cal vibes when he’d say weird stuff before a big game.Or maybe, just maybe he is giving excuses because he fears the University of Kentucky is about to blitz Duke in Catlanta?
😂 Damn, beat me to it with the midolCouple of Midols and he should be good to go.
Or just call up Coach K and have him bite him on the neck, voila eternal life. Can’t cramp if you’re nosferatu.
The worst cramp is right below the chin.I cramped so bad a couple years after college playing a pickup football game at LCA. Both legs at once, some of most intense pain I've experienced for a couple minutes.

I'm hoping that happens, that we just bury the snot out of them.Maybe Flagg hasn’t had to work that hard in High School and the off-season? The level of game he’s accustomed to has probably come too easy for him and he’s now getting pushed more than ever before?

Chin? What were you doing? The worst cramp is right below the chin.
Haven't experienced one in a while.
It grips you as if to say I got your arse then it slowly progresses into agonizing pain.
Just brutal
Brother I LOVE YOUR ENTHUSIASM but…..saying duke is in big trouble is asinine! As much as I’d love for them to have nothing, they have talent in bunches. Our defense is suspect and we’re facing the consensus #1 player in the country. Some players are more prone to them than others. Flagg may be one of those.
We about to see.
Our style of play is the worst case scenario for him.
No rest for the weary with UKs up and down style. We have the depth/experience/talent to maintain it all game from tip to buzzer.
Duke is in big trouble in about 28 hrs from this post.
I've had the double legged calf and/or thigh cramps lead to violently instantaneous coitus interruptusI cramped so bad a couple years after college playing a pickup football game at LCA. Both legs at once, some of most intense pain I've experienced for a couple minutes.
Maybe we can get whoever plays for Maine that held him to 6-15 from the field for 18 points (6-6 from the FT line) to transfer before tonight. That guy is apparently the greatest defender in the history of basketball to hold the greatest player to ever play to 18 points and 40% from the field.Who are we going to have on Flagg?
