we were fortunate they didnt have Wade when we played them earlier this year, it offset the issues to some degree , on this rollercoaster season. I wouldn't count on seeing them have another game like today, either, but Tennessee defense played its part apparently enough.

the SEC is insane this year. Never seen a year like it. In my humble opinion, the SEC finally came of age this year. I always thought the SEC SHOULD BE the best basketball conference every year.

tennessee got 8 threes from lanier, 2 down the stretch from gainey, 2 from zeigler, they lived at the line the final 4 minutes shooting 90% for the game (18-20), and still they were fortunate to win. this is why it’s so hard to ever see tennessee make a ff. they play such good defense, you’d think shooting 50% from three, 90% from the line would get you a double digit win. it was basically a possession game and a&m just screwed up.

Any win at aTm regardless the numbers is a good, no a great win. I would not have thought TN could stay within 10 points of aTM on the road. aTM had lost at home to Oregon and Bama prior to today. I am glad we had them in Rupp. Our fans would have stroked out today if we were playing them and aTm got the same whistle they got against TN. A fair whistle today would have been a double digit TN win. Worst officiated game I have watched this year and I was pulling for aTm until it was obvious the refs had to have bets on the game. Yes, Pat Adams was there. How does the SEC continue to hire that clown? He is just blatantly crooked.

i realize a big part of the sec’s dominance has to do with how it performed pre-conference, but it is interesting that our games are so physical and still a lot of points get put up.
