Never understood the hype with that dude. His best season as a coach was in 2014 at USC where he went 9-4.
Houston got hosed with a very bad spot
He just got bailed out big time by the refs. Houston got spotted almost a full yard short of where they actually advanced that ball and it wasn’t even reviewed.
Within 2 minutes it would had to be reviewed by the booth. I don’t understand why that wasn’t looked at.

Lots of talk about this week about Riley putting out feelers to the NFL and would go to Chicago in a heartbeat.
See my rant about this in another thread. I was to smash my head with a frying pan every time I see that. Snap it three yards back giving the DLine two full seconds to get penetration, then hand it to flatfooted back with no momentum towards the line. I cant see the problem!!!
The sneak with a tush push is the answer and almost impossible to stop. So much so that the push may need to be outlawed again.
It is amazing. The guy has had 3 high profile jobs with Washington, USC and Texas and he is a career 65-48/43-36. Pretty damn mediocre.
