That makes sense because I had heard early on that Hudson Card was going to ND. Card just picked Purdue so I would assume that means ND already has their guy, Hartman.

Is Hartman or card a better get than leary?

If healthy hartman should cancel out but card had multiple years I would presume? Jury's still a little out but he did look really good coming in the few times I saw. Happy with leary but I would like a multi year starter to come in.

I don’t see a thing in Card I’d want over Leary. Card can’t throw deeper routes to save his life, doesn’t seem to read rhe defense fast enough…he’s a slightly better runner but he’s no Lamar Jackson with his feet

At some point you have to quit looking at the high school ranking when you’re this many years into college. Leary is eons better than Card. Now I like Hartman…was taken back he’s wasn’t wanted more but at Notre dame..we’ll see him on big stage

From listening to those, including hints from KSR, around the program

They wanted a Blue Chip 1 year portal QB

They seem to be high on Destin Wade’s quick development (and who wouldn’t be high on his physical tools) and want him to have reason to stick around.

Add in his brother being our best pass rushing talent and I think it’s the best approach, as well.

Hartman is by a decent bit, but hell no to Card.

I think you're right...at least that is how it played out this year. But that is sad for college....those fanbases are going to be a lot less enthusiastic knowing their better players could be plucked out for better program any time.
