Opening up the floor for a couple of questions that we tackle in the Roundtable here.

Especially:

How much time should Barker get against EKU?

How much of UK's defensive improvement is improvement versus the offenses they've played?

and finally....

Have you revised your expectations for UK given the Cats' 3-1 (2-1) start?

Our answers here

Barker - series in the 2nd quarter and then from the late 3rd quarter on.

Defense - we've vastly improved! We've played quality opponents.

Win/loss revision - I was predicting 6. Now a GREAT shot at 8.

Would love to see Barker get the 4th quarter and a couple series in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.
Defense has improved dramatically, regardless of opponents. They're still SEC teams. Having Flannigan and Hatcher back, along with Poop Johnson coming into his own, has made us much better against the run. Has always been our issue and now we've got the ability to limit big plays.

I had us going 8-4 so I'm not sure we're too off from that now. Now if we beat Auburn, may have to up that to 9 games ;)

Barker- The entire 2nd half. He needs as many reps as he can get, because the QB position is so vulnerable to injury( praying that Patrick stays healthy the whole season).

Defense- Although the offenses we've played aren't considered great, our defense has more than exceeded their pre-season expectations. Getting Flannigan, Johnson and Hatcher back and playing great has made the biggest difference from the ULL game until now. Our speed on the defensive side is the best we've had as long as I can remember.

Expectations- Thought 6 was reachable last Summer, now I think 8 or even 9 are possible. That would change the whole dynamic of our program.
