Rothstein: Self Hopeful About Diallo, But Preparing for All Scenarios

Time is running out for Self.

He should be used to it though. Luckily he's got 4 months before he can find another way to choke in March.

I think we'll play the same way with or without Cheick

And then......

"It would definitely force our hand to play different if we didn't have him," Self said.

He completely contradicts himself in the article. First, they play the same then, we play different.

I haven't really seen anything on our guy Labissiere. I am confident he will be good to go since it's October and nothing negative has come out. However there is still worry in the back of my mind since there is still a month of pre season left.

Packing a dead squirrel on your head for many years has to cause some adverse effects. Just saying.

KU doesn't have a prayer without Diallo. He's their best player IMO.

At least not for a national championship. They'd still at worst be the third best team in the Big 12 without him. Other than Iowa State (although they lost Hoiberg) and OU who got a boost from Buddy Hield sticking around, I'm not sure who else in that conference could challenge them. Maybe Baylor, but I don't trust a Scott Drew team.

I meant championship or FF.

For all conspiracy theorists......NCAA declares Diallo and Skal ineligble, hands title to dUKe.

I really have to chuckle at KU. Regardless of the article, the one thing they always say is KU has won the big 12 X times I the last X years. Really, you keep winning a garbage , overrated conference and that is your shining star? I'd be embarrassed.
