Rosenthal to the NFL

Frustrating because it would have been mutually beneficial for both Rosenthal and UK had he stayed one more year. Best of luck to him but we saw our lack of depth at the LT position in the Citrus bowl. Hopefully someone will enter the portal either soon or after spring ball because there are not a ton of great options for tackle currently in the portal.

I hope he does well. It would only help UK's efforts to recruit in the transfer portal.

I know we don’t like it but I believe that the further UK moves up the FB world, the more we will see players entering the draft. Good luck to Dare!

Bad move, he isnt ready.
I watched the guy and he was avg.
He was far from average. Especially on pass protection. He was the BEST LT we had on the team and it wasn't even close.

Even better than DK at LT. This is a huge loss for the O line and Will Levis.

6 sacks against freaking Iowa without him in the lineup. . Someone better be spending a lot of time with Goodwin getting him ready to play early or we will see a lot of CRod off tackle runs this year and a lot of QB scrambles.

Days like today reminds you why this program will never be a big one😡
Huh? The more kids UK can put in the NFL, the better it is. I assume Dare got an NFL evaluation that told him he would get drafted at some point. And we don’t know his situation…so wish him well. He contributed greatly to one of UK’s best ever seasons.

If your not losing guys to the draft early you don’t have much nfl talent. The teams ranked ahead of us lose more than us consistently. No unexpected early draft entries and several key super senior returns if your complaining what we bring back you have unreasonable expectations.

As expected. No doubt the plan all along, Stoops the least surprised

And personally I'm fine with any LSU guys coming here as 1 & done
Does the NCAA even look at graduation rates and grades any more? Is that still a thing?

Big Cat fan: Nope, I see a cloud … way over there.

Because we’re losing players to the draft? Honestly that’s the complete opposite actually.
Definitely a big loss, but hey we got plenty of time to figure it out. If I recall Dare was a summer addition anyway

Seriously?

Indeed. Alabama never ever has guys leave early. Or Georgia. Or Ohio st. Or Clemson. Or Oklahoma.

Nope, early draft entries are a symptom of a program that will never be a big one, so so sad......
LOL…. Put that dude on ignore already…. You’ll be glad you did.

My take is that both he and the program would be better served if he were to come back for 2022. But-he’s made his decision and I respect it. Good luck to him.

I wish him the best for sure but think he's hoping they draft on potential and athleticism. Wasnt a top lineman IMO YET, but he does have the physical skills to be one and they put a lot of stock in that in the NFL thinking they can develop the rest.

I was really hoping he would come back for one more season and hold down the LT position and work on his fundamentals. Best of luck to him and I hope he has a long career in the NFL.

APR is still a thing. Not an expert, but isn't that just measuring kids on the team passing classes & making reasonable progress towards graduation? But not necessarily actually graduating?

So, UK shouldn't be penalized by Wan'dale & Dare leaving early as long as their fall 2021 grades were good
