Rondo with back to back tripe doubles and 3 in the last 4 games. Russell Westbrook also has back to back triple doubles after tonights win. I wonder if that's ever happened in the league before? 2 guys with back to back triple doubles? The record for triple doubles in a season is 17 by Magic, Jordan with 15 one year. Can Rondo or Russell break it>? The story of the year is brewing..

Cuz had 40 in the game and many Rondo assist's. Folks thinking the Kings suck better think again. Big Cuz is coming for those playoffs and ain't nobody in the league can stop him one on one or sometimes two on one. I've seen him manhandle Blake Griifin and DeAndre at the same damn time. HE is the man right now.

UPDATE: Rondo posted another triple double on 11/18. 4 in 6 games. record for the season in the nba is 17

watched the last quarter. no wonder Boogie gets T'd. he didn't last night be had every right to. 2 god awful calls against him fouled him out. planted and took the charge called blocking and then drove the basket and defender was on the cylinder line under the basket and charge called. guess his reputation causes this but it's pathetic officiating and on Sac home floor. can imagine what he gets on the road.
Rondo was the old Rondo. WCS with great defensive play deflecting the inbound pass to save the game.
Team has talent.

Man, that's crazy. I know the NBA is more of an offensive game but a triple double is one hell of an accomplishment. 2 in a row is awesome. I just hope Rajon can clean up the attitude, he's too good to ruin his reputation by being a hot head.

Weird stat on Cousins: he's hitting a higher percentage from 3 (43.5) than overall (42.4) and it's not like he's only taken a few. He's averaging 4 attempts per game.

NBA inside play is brutal. I can see why Cousins shoots a better % from the outside.

Oscar Robertson averaged a triple double for a whole season with the Cincinnatti Royals. In the 1961-62 season Robertson became the only player in NBA history to average a triple-double for an entire season, with 30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds and 11.4 assists.

Was going to post this also. The Big O was the total package and is not nearly given the respect that he deserves. All around maybe the GOAT. Remember he played when there was no 3 point shot and when assists were not given nearly as liberally as they are today. When Oscar wanted to score, he scored.

Back on topic, Rondo has been very good this season.

I love seeing Cuz with a real point guard. Rondo has given him some great passes in the lane.

Counting playoffs, Rondo has over 30 career triple dips.

Pretty remarkable for a kid who stands 6'1".

Boogie had 21 pts in the 3rd qtr including a couple of threes and several mid-range jumpers. Nasty dunk over Lopez on a drive to the basket as well.
Rondo seems to be thriving under Karl.
I've said it repeatedly, RR is a freak and crazy smart on the court. And he isn't even fully back to 100% yet.

Where is a certain poster on here saying rondo triple doubles were the benefit of playing with pierce, Garnett, and Allen. He said that rondo was actually selfish trying to pad his stats.
