What's their projected starting lineup as of now? Holliday, the three Cats and who?
I would think Solomon Hill, assuming Rondo is starting.

Why is that a stretch? If you can't figure out how to squeeze 50 wins out of the two most talented bigs in the game and a recent All Star point guard, a whole lot of people need to get fired.
Utah won 51 games in the West last year. Don't you think they can be that good?
That's bullshit. He hasn't been on a team for more than a year since he left Boston. Boston got rid of him because he was more trouble than he was worth. The "chemistry killer" stuff is insufferably fallacious.

Maybe I missed some of the other signings that they may have had, but you really think that Rondo being the only significant addition to a bad team is gonna catapult them +16 wins? They still have the same problems that people have talked about on this board, ad naseum. Shaky outside shooting, among the worse collection of wing players in the league...
Do I think they'll be better? Yes. 50 wins and 4-6 seed better? No.

The + 16 wins reflects having a full season of Davis/Cousins + a healthy holiday.
The 4-6 seed reflects that while the West has added some talent, mid-tier play-off teams such as LAC and Utah are actually weaker. The Spurs, with an injured Tony Parker, also look to accumulate fewer wins.
The 50 wins also points to the fact that this was a 50 win team just 2 years ago, and getting back to that point, with a Western Conference that is now weaker at the bottom, combined with the potential to rack up wins against a very weak Eastern Conference, should be easier today than it was then.
This team is probably more talented than the 50 win team from 2 years ago. So, getting back to that should not be insurmountable.
Agree with everything except the 2015 team only won 45 games.
That team still don't have nearly the top end talent of this one.
Yep. I know a fellow, very, very fair, who interviewed him a lot when he was still playing AAU ball. Even he found Rondo unpleasant to deal with at a young age. That's bullshit. He hasn't been on a team for more than a year since he left Boston. Boston got rid of him because he was more trouble than he was worth.
So RondoI would think Solomon Hill, assuming Rondo is starting.
So Rondo
Holiday
Hill
AD
Cousins
With no one off the bench. Ugly ass roster
Yeah, Tubby Smith.![]()

They should of went after Paul George and added Rondo forgetting about Holiday. They need that wing. Where is Terrace Jones at? Thought they had him as well..
Rondo
George
Jones
AD
Cousin
That would of been a hell of a starting 5 if they could of pulled it off..
Maybe I missed where Davis and Cousins played a full 82 games together and not like 17? You're insane if you don't think they can be +16 in the wins department this year.Maybe I missed some of the other signings that they may have had, but you really think that Rondo being the only significant addition to a bad team is gonna catapult them +16 wins? Jones is a FA.
That team has no spacing... would not play Jones, Davis and Cousins together.
