Larry brown won, carisle won, who cares it's a players league. What does the coach have to do with it in the nba, like they listen to him anyway. They get their money and want to go home, that's what I have seen. I would welcome someone onto the team that wanted to fight with me if I was a coach in the nba.

I will be rooting for rondo and cuz to prove the media and the "segment" of uk fans that hate them wrong this year. Looks to be an exciting team in a deep Western Conference.

I heard a rumor the NBA was going to do away with coaches since they are so unnecessary. SMDH.

I will give you rondo can be a head case and rondo is not the mold of a PG but his contributions to a game especially during the Celtics run was incredible. He played great defense, rebounded , steals, and assists were some of the best all around for a guard.

They may be improved, but I don't see how they make the play-offs. There are a lot of teams between them and #8 in a loaded west.

I love Rondo. My favorite player in the league and has been for quite a while. I like Rondo because he is definitely a winner and doesn't back down like so may punks in the league (floppers etc etc). If you don't understand what I mean, look up Rondo on Youtube and see all the scuffles he gets into with other players. Its not from being a punk, its from having an attitude that says "hey, you're not going to do that to me. You're not going to have your way today." Thats what winners do. Those of you who don't understand have probably never laced them up.

His antics in Dallas last year are definitely a mark against him, but I don't believe at all that its the real Rondo. Much of Rondo's problems with coaches and authority are because they struggle to get on his level in regard to what is best for the team. Rondo is a cerebral player and he knows the ins and outs of everything on the floor. If you go back and research his time in Boston you will find that despite arguments and occasional dissagreements, he was respected by Rivers. Rivers said all the time that Rondo would one day make a great coach.

Ill never forget when Boston was playing against Lebron in the conference finals and in a crucial time at the end of the game Rondo got switched off and had to guard LeBron. I remember Rondo getting up in LeBron and basically saying "Lets go" and not backing down. Again, thats what winners do.

To me, Rondo is a throwback. He wants to win and if you're not on his same page in regard to winning then you will butt heads. The bashing of him on here is ridiculous. Rondo is a player and I wish there were more like him. Again, spend some time on Youtube watching him and see what I am talking about.

It's like the Kings were thinking about what group of people could they bring together that would make the best reality tv show. They need to hire some people to follow them around with cameras, because there is definitely gonna be some drama.

As for Rondo and Cousins, there is way too much evidence of their flaws, both in terms of personality and skill set, to completely write it off as media bias. Cousins still has maturity issues. He does what he wants to, and pouts when things don't work out. Rondo wants complete control of everything and he doesn't react well when the coach doesn't completely hand over control to him. He's not good enough anymore to make it worth putting up with him. Boston got better after he left, and Dallas turned into a train wreck.

I have a feeling a LOT of people are going to have to eat crow over this Kings team. People see Rondo+Boogie+Karl and automatically assume disaster, but they have looked really good on the court in the preseason. They have speed, athleticism, a couple of nice shooters and depth at every position. Their second string squad would probably compete for a playoff spot in the east.

I know how people feel about Rondo - but I do agree with this post. Yes he's difficult, and yes he's earned that reputation. Like many coaches, you kind of got to be an SOB to get the job done. The "nice guys" rarely do as well.

Kings have two of the best post defenders in Koufos and WCS.
KINGS have a hall of fame coach.
Kings will be a playoff team this year if they don't lose GAY to injury.
