Gotta hope K retires soon no doubt about it

This is just. This is a short , sweet and to the point observation but an Excellent point nonetheless.
As long as K is still coaching , UK and any other team really have almost a 0% chance of winning a title/ or being successful. I've actually heard (rumors?) a lot of coaches have been having secret meetings to try and decide what to do? All of them feel like it's not even worth trying bc everyone knows coach K and Duke will get every single top 13 player and win title after title after title.

Nah man, don't ya know? Never rule Duke out of anything. They're the Mecca of college basketball and even tho Langford has literally eliminated Duke from consideration ... some of our fans (rightfully so!!!) realize K and Duke are gods and will get whoever they want, whenever they want.

I've read Garland is either Vandy or Duke. Jones commitment to Duke may have cost them Garland, but he still has a visit to Duke to take.

It would be a giant feat for miller and IU if they could actually nab a talented in state kid. With IU being so irrelevant the last several years, they've all gone elsewhere (including UK)

Miller should focus on some solid 3 and 4 starts at first imo before he tries to jump in the pool with the big boys.

So what you are saying is that the NEW HC at Indiana should leave the most coveted recruit from Indiana since Damon Bailey, alone? If he does, he might wanna call back Dayton and see if he can have his old job back. The one thing that infuriated IU fans was Creans inability to recruit the state. Archie might as well quit tomorrow if he didn't actively and aggressively recruit Langford.

Crean alienated the himself and the program with his ridiculous antics, with in-state kids/HS coaches. But even then, he somehow landed guys like Zeller and Yogi. As long as Crean was at IU, Indiana's top HS talent wasn't coming anywhere near Bloomington.

That's about to change. Archie's already gotten commits from some solid in-state kids. Getting Romeo isn't as far fetched as you think. MOF, I think Indiana's chances are pretty good.

As for Langford? I went to school at New ALbany. Played basketball at New Albany. Know his father Tim really well. Know the program, really well. Was teammates with NA's JV head coach. So in other words, I'm quite familiar with the situation. He may not come to Indiana; seems as if UL is leading. But in Millers short time, he's made up a lot of ground. Indiana, per some recruiting experts has jumped waaaaay up. Some feel as if IU is a solid 2nd, behind UL. And talk within the NA basketball circle is Romeo has really taking a liking to Archie and the system he runs; which is similar to what New Albany runs.

Like I said, I like Indiana's chances.

And certainly when Knight brought his Indiana teams there. Kentucky's not above derogatory chants. Something tells me if you don't think this goes on at Rupp, then you have probably never been there. My family has had season tickets in the upper deck since the 70's. You're program is trash. That video I showed has NEVER happened at UK one time in the 100's of games I've been to. If Archie somehow pulls off a miracle and lands Langford at IU, the dude should thank Cal personally for allowing IU to land one of their own and playing his college basketball at home. This is the type of elite talent the dude wants to have on his roster if he wants the IU fans fully supporting him as IU coach. We know for some odd reason this is a kid Cal never really showed much interest in and if Cal showed more interest, we don't know if he accepts, but we do know Cal and Kentucky would be a real player to sign the kid. I know IU fans want to believe their current coach is the man finally that keeps home born players home at IU, but it's way too early to tell. The dude seems to show major upside in coaching, but never know if the Miller choke is a family shared thing that happens the moment the dude has IU back with NCAA tourney hopes. This kid would be a huge get for Arch and IU, but with the luck Rick and UL has had lately, i wouldn't count them out yet. Something postive has to fall their way and it might just be with this recruit.
