After the NCAA Tournament win over Troy, Mark Pope shared that Kentucky Basketball great Vernon Hatton passed away shortly before tipoff.

I was at the Temple game with my Dad. It was crazy loud...Also saw Jerry West and WVa in the UKIT that same year...Memorial was truely the Mecca of college basketball back in it's day. Saw a lot of HOF guys play UK and for UK there.
