Have always admired what be built with Bill Gates. Another one of those guys I thought who died long ago.
As a Cowboys fan he was one of the main keys to the SB's they won in spite of Jerry Jones.
I disagree. Jerry Jones made one of the greatest trades in sports history that led to 3 Super Bowls. If he wasn't so arrogant he probably would have won 5-6 with that crew. And he's been pretty bad since then.
If you're referring to the Hershel Walker trade, that was Jimmy Johnson's call. And if Jerry were not such a narcissist, he could have kept Jimmy happy and maintained a Belichick-style dynasty

Emitt Smith deserves a lot more respect than he has been given. Was he better than Barry Sanders? No. But he was definitely elite. Just look what happened when they had to play Sherman Williams.
In spite of Jerry ? He was responsible for building that dynasty. He was an idiot for getting rid of JJ, but Jerrah bought and built the Cowboys into a monster.
That was when he allowed the coach and front office people to do their jobs and he just wrote the checks. Then he started getting into the decision making and well we see where the Cowboys are today.
