A very good man, was a much better ex president than president, among many other things, he was very prominent in Habitat for Humanity for over 30 years. He was a class act throughout his life.

I got to meet him once at a book signing. He was a kind and decent man but a terrible president.
He was horrible. None of his fake framing or humanitarian crap came out of his pocket either. Any of us can take a photo with a hammer.
As recently as 2014 he sided with terrorist over Israel.
He was dumb and amazingly held that office. He was dumb enough RR could undo him easily.
So for his stupidity I consider FDR and Obama worse because the weren’t stupid. They were evil.

It might not seem like it, but you CAN break out of this type of way to live your life, man. Do you really want your one life to be filled with this kind of constant daily bitterness?
I never look for attention. I avoid it. Carter would have been best served doing so. He was simple and stupid. I know he did take pictures with hammers.

If you feel the need to attack a man of Carter's caliber when he's no longer around to defend himself, well, says more about you than it ever does him.
Jimmy Carter wasn't perfect by any means. But the man was a Navy veteran, a governor, teacher, and of course a President. Without a doubt, he served his country.
Carter wasn't the best President. He struggled no doubt. I'm sure he'd agree that there's things he could've done better or differently. Welcome to being human. But he did foster a peace agreement between Egypt and Israel that still is in place and holding.

RIP President Carter! His legacy will continue on with Habitat for Humanity. Something I have had the joy of being a part of helping build some homes.

From everything I can recall, he was a very good man who was completely out of his element in the White House. Too detailed oriented and just got bogged down trying to decipher all the gobbleygook that crossed his desk. While prominent in politics, it seemed like he was very much a Dixiecrat. Once he was much older, the press reported that he took a lot of very left of center positions (was that accurate, who knows?). As others have said, pretty bad President, pretty good human being.

Brewed by Falls City, which is about as bad as beer gets, but I confess I never had a Billy Beer. I did however drink one or two Cost Cutter Beers sold by Kroger in the 1970s, when I worked there, and if Billy Beer was worse than CC beer, God help the poor souls who drank it.
