I'm not. I think he's one of the best guests. I listened to Clay Travis when he was on the Zone in Nashville. Does that make me a Tennessee fan, too?Spoken like a UK basketball fan.

No but how many other Kentucky guests have you heard talk on Finebaums show. Have you heard Freddie or Tom or Piecoro speak? Compared to them you and Jones sound like Kentucky basketball fans. Btw I'm am both a basketball and football fan.oh and BTW it is indicative of what I'm saying about Finebaum that a bama fan and Finebaum don't know who would be a knowledgeable interview regarding Kentucky football.I'm not. I'm not. I'm a Bama grad and I root for them in all sports. Football is my favorite sport, but I also enjoy college basketball. Finebaum isn't the greatest when it comes to talking hoops, so whenever he has someone good on, I'll listen. When he came on a few times during the 2013-2014 basketball season, I thought he was fantastic. Easily one of the best guests that Finebaum has ever had on. Clay Travis appears on JOX 94.5 in Birmingham every single week and I started listening to his show every now and then. You can enjoy certain guests and listen to their show a few times without being a fan of their respective teams.
Paul's show is 3/4 sports, 1/4 Jerry Springer. Auburn's bowl loss last year produced my all-time favorite moment on his show.
I can't agree. UGA may not deserved unwarranted accolades but they sure as heck deserve respect for a consistent high level with high level integrity. I value that even when it is an opponent that kicks our but on a regular basis.
Charlotte, North Carolina is in Alabama? News to everyone else, but you I'd say there.
Point remains when it comes to Kentucky football, Finebaum and Jones conversation is like the glitter attention seeking women sprinkle on themselves, sparkles but little substance. I do think Finebaum has much more serious and on point info about Alabama than he does a large portion of other SEC schools. Anyway that is one reason I don't watch the SEC network all that much. I put it in the same category as most daytime television.
I don't think he is disrespecting the way we run our program, which I, of course, think is pretty clean. Sure we have kids who make dumb decisions and do stupid crap, but so does everyone else. I think he just talks about how we are suppose to be a challenger for the East or maybe the SEC and we will have 1 or 2 of those WTH games a year, just like last year. No way we should have lost to USC or UF, yet lost to both. So I think most of his disrespecting to UGA and Richt is about how the team seemly underperforms every year, not to Richt personally. Lots of UGA fans would like to see Richt step down because of that very thing.
It was based in Alabama. That's probably what he was talking about.
I just asked him and he said no. All he has to do is show them his ID card and they let him right on through. How refreshing to know...I guess his position means no going through the xray ma bob thingy?
A UK caller just got on the Paul Finebaum show by pretending to be a Bama fan from Tuscaloosa. The first thing the caller said to Finebaum was that he called earlier and said he was a UK fan from Kentucky and they wouldn't put him on the show. He then said he called right back saying he was an Alabama fan and they put him right on.
This visibly upset Finebaum as he knew the rigged show was now outed. He quickly cut off the caller and made some disparaging remark about the cats.
I have suspected this for some time as the BBN has perhaps the strongest call-in fan base in the country (esp. for basketball) yet the UK fans that are heard from on his show are few and far between.
I find myself flipping the station frequently from his show as he puts the same Bama fans on everyday and we get to hear little from the other 13 schools' fans.
