If Trents UK career ends up going like it looks like its going to go, who ends up being the most beloved player between the two.
Seems to be a lot of parallels between the two. ( Being from the mountains etc )
Leaving out Richies post UK issues.

It's way, way, way too early for this.

Noah has played a handful of minutes in one season and has shows some flashes of good skill. Richie's jersey is in the Rafters. There is a long way from one to the other.

Hopefully Trent avoids the joint.

Ford was way faster.
Are you comparing the JR & SR Ford (his 4th & 5th years) to the FR Perry?
Ford did nothing as a Soph, nor do I think he did much as a FR at Missouri 2 years earlier.

I expect both Perry and Noah to become more built, and leaner, and yes quicker after this summer. Will anyone confuse them with Oweh or Butler? No!!!
Perry should aim higher than Farmer. But he's not a true PG like Ford. Perhaps he should look at Lofton (you're welcome UT).
Noah, I like how he plays, he tries to do the little things. Getting stronger, leaner, jump higher, quicker, should help his game even more than Perry's. Feldhaus was not the shooter he is. But build-wise, yeah that's what he should shoot for. As for game, maybe Pelphrey's is closer or Almonor.

Ford was also turning 32 when he was done, lol. I bet a 23 Perry would be pretty good in college.

Missouri was ranked number one in the nation with Travis Ford as a point guard. He was the backup. Averaged 20 plus minutes

Travis Ford smoked the skills competition at the senior All-Star game in 1994. Perry may wind up being a better player, but he's not going to be faster than Travis Ford.

I understand and appreciate the unforgettable references. Perry is closer to Farmer and Noah shows signs (and has size) to become Pelphrey (if he’s skilled enough) or Feldhaus of he can bang and overachieve.

I sometimes think people group those guys together and forget how good Pelphrey was. He was like a generic Bird In college.

i think the opposite......i think time romanticizes things and makes them seem better than they were.
pelphry and bird in the same sentence is basketball blasphemy

I assume you didn’t read the generic part and appreciate the 14, 6 and 5 stuff that Pelphrey brought in college.

I know he held his hands up and we lost to Duke. Time to get over that

oh i read it and ill stand behind my statements. i dont hate pelphrey. i also dont think you remember how good bird was.
dalton knecht now that is a generic bird in college. 14 6 and 5 has been done by many many players

Trents basketball ceiling is quite a bit higher than Richie’s. He also has an opportunity to accomplish more. We shall see.

Agree. He came in listed as 6'4 but he looks a legit 6'7 or more now. Great shooter. Great nose for the ball. Physical. Athletic. Smart. Fearless.

Kid will be a player next year or at worst year after.

Semantics. So you must hold a grudge against Pelhrey I dont. He was a really good player in college. More so than Knecht who you must like.

Nice call, Msrine
Hadn't thought about that - !

Noah is an enigma to me
I love comparing current UK players to former ones but am not sure who he matches up with

Derrick Hord maybe?
Roughly same size - excellent shooters
he kinda moves like feldhouse. not really the same game but alot of similarities to me
