Rich Brooks resorts to cliche. 'A win is a win!'

Indeed. You're so right. That game was scintillating. There's absolutely nothing to be concerned about, or criticize. All is puppies and rainbows. And sunshine being pumped.

No other Kentucky team in my lifetime would have won that game last night, and I am 77 years old. It was an ugly game with the players coming out flat and out-played for 31/2 quarters. The exact prescription for an embarrassing Kentucky loss that I have seen many, many times over the years. The difference is that this Kentucky team found a way to win the game - and that is a note-worthy difference.

totally agree
THAT was the take away for me - just like UL-Layfette --- they found a way to win when SO MANY former UK teams would have wet the bed

Win and advance! Football only fans, you shouldn't know this motto, but just in case you do, it's not a basketball motto.... Anyone can use it! :football:

Wonder if this "fan" was there even. If he was, did he leave at halftime.
When UK got its head out of its a$$, they dominated the game. (the last 7.5 minutes and ot) Unfortunately they waited til the end to try. I'm not happy with how it looked, I know of no one who is, but we are at 4-1, and I would venture to guess that our coaches have the teams full attention.

No one is saying there arent any negative take aways. However the game was still won. It was simply a bad game as uk has already proven they can compete with the SEC. Kentucky also beat a good Missouri team and barely lost to number 11 Florida. Like I said in another thread, if sports were predictable all you would have to do is go to Vegas, gamble on the games, and become rich.
