We already knew he declared for the draft on Wednesday. He said in the announcement he wanted to make sure he was making the right decision (presumably by getting feedback after workouts/combine etc). Don't really see the outrage. I think all of us think or thought Bam wasn't coming back. Rex could have just been going with that assumption. I think that is almost easier to explain and understand than some of the cases on the board in which if one person types a negative remark then he or she is automatically a troll.

I think we all knew that BAM was headed to the NBA even with him not hiring an agent yet. BAM is in the Top 20 or higher in most of the 2017 NBA Mock Drafts. It was just a matter of time before BAM makes it official and hires an agent. We all knew that Fox, Monk, and BAM were 98% gone with the season each had and how much all three improved by the end of the season. This should not surprise anyone that BAM will be gone and headed for the NBA. I didn't think Briscoe would hire an agent since he hasn't moved up the 2017 Draft Boards. I guess Briscoe thinks he will still be at the same position in the Mock Draft 2 years down the road when he is a senior at UK. So next year we have Hump back if he doesn't transfer with SKJ and Gabriel.

It's not as financially of cool of a story but here's me: I'm 25, went to the Air Force Academy at of high school. Went through basic training, hand to hand combat training, urban survival training, and SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) training. All before I was 20. So believe me when I tell you I am the furthest thing from a bitch. In the middle of my sophomore year they told me I couldn't fly. With my dream of flying fighter jets crushed I transferred to Transylvania to get a biology degree. I hated school but I was already half way done and it was important to my mom that I finish, so I did. Plus civilian college was a blast.
Graduated at 22 and wasn't interested in any job my degree could get me, so I became a fire fighter. I make $40,000+ a year before overtime and I'm as happy as can be. I have the absolute best job in the world and I love it. I drive a 2012 Honda Civic, live in a single apartment, and am not married (got close once) with no kids. Those things will come, I'm not worried about it.

I think this is accurate. Even if Bam gets second round feedback (which I doubt), he’s going to earn a contract with an NBA team going into next season. Too big; too athletic; too much upside to pass up.
