Absolutely. It’s a classic film and plot. I think everyone in the 80s either had to ski or water ski to save a slope or a summer camp. đŸ˜‚ I think that was the plot of Meatballs 4 with Corey Feldman too.

The book is 10 times better.
Misses by a year but "Miller's Crossing" is right up there with it.Underrated 80's movies. Once Upon A Time In America is considered a genuine classic, IMO. One of the pillars of modern gangster films.
To Live and Die in LA
Indeed. I think we should all be grateful for cocaine for making it happen. The thing about the 80s is that filmmakers had the freedom to make a lot of weird shit
Freedom and lots of cocaine. The thing about the 80s is that filmmakers had the freedom to make a lot of weird shit, and studios would toss them a few million to do it. Not sure that’s a thing anymore, unfortunately.
My favorite Coen brothers movie and a lot of people have probably never heard of it.Misses by a year but "Miller's Crossing" is right up there with it.
Jacobs Ladder is a great call. The Final Countdown was good - surprisingly my lovely bride also enjoyed it
Was Jacobs Ladder fm the 80s? That was AWESOME
Red Dawn and The Day After were both pretty good I think
Does The Shining count?
