April isn’t much better. Louisville x2. LSU at home than 3 at Auburn. I’m a little more optimistic than I was at the beginning of the season mainly because of how the offense has been. But The SEC is a whole other animal.
Yea... that is just absolutely brutal.
LSU will be interesting. They have been down by their standards. They lost back to back games to Nicholls and Eastern Kentucky, one of which was a Friday game. They also got beat by Oklahoma and Baylor in the Shriner's Classic. They are last in hitting in the SEC. So, they are conceivably very beatable.
Cats will not lose another game for the remainder of the month. Write it down.

The way things are going, they might not play another game the rest of the month. So you very well could be right.
They aren't. That is what has been announced. No SEC regular season sports until March 30.
So, I guess they could play one on Tuesday the 31st. lol
Just brutal. I was already one foot into baseball season and with the roundball tourneys being canceled I was ready to go all in. Bat Cats pushed back and now Reds opening day too. Brutal!!!
I'm not sure that UK baseball is simply pushed back. I think it's done and won't be back until 2021.
I'm curious about your opinion on something. In terms of recruiting for next year, how do you think not playing the season will affect recruiting. Does it help us to not go through another poor season, or does it not matter since last season was so bad. I guess I'm trying to find some positive in all of this.I'm not sure that UK baseball is simply pushed back. I think it's done and won't be back until 2021.

Well, that is a difficult question in some ways. The 2020 class is probably pretty much locked up regardless. It is just a matter of who makes it to campus and who heads to the pros. So, really, it is beyond 2020 where it might have made a bigger difference.
Our recruiting in 2021 took quite a nose dive as we're currently ranked 39th with 11 recruits in the fold. Our average number is also pretty low at 3.82, while most of the top 25 is up around the 6+ mark. 2022 isn't as bad, we're ranked 21st with a 6.86 average.
I lean more towards it being kind of a push. I don't think someone will necessarily use this to do an amazing negative recruiting pitch against us, but we're still on a downward trend overall.
Apparently places like Auburn have suspended recruiting trips, so if that is the case, then maybe UK could get an advantage over teams like that.
