I barely do and I'm 32 years old. You know you see Duke and others do this every season but a Coach Cal team could only manage a 15-20 point win.

Love to say it - feels good to beat the Sh** out of a team.

That’s because it has only happened 4 times (in official games — I didn’t check exhibition records) in Kentucky basketball history. Twice in the 40s, once in 1956, and once in 1994 (hmmm…).

We did not. I believe Asbury 156-63 in 2016 is the closest we have ever come. Darn close, but not quite 100.

I actually thought we were going to hit another 3 to make it 126. I know it's exhibition, but teams do scout (unlike the former coach and his clown corps), and they have GOT to be thinking "Kentucky's back!".

It certainly is refreshing versus a Cal team scoring 123 but giving up 100+. Let’s go Pope! Keep making improvements and lets have some fun this season!

I know the competition wasn't elite. But this is Pitino ball. Love him or hate him or indifferent to him. That ERA was the best I have watched. I been watching since 75. Many here have been watching far longer.
For the youngsters here who wasn't around in the 90s. Sit back and enjoy horse race basketball with 3 pointers flying left and right.

No, it wasn't elite. But Wesleyan is a GOOD D2 team. And we did what a GOOD D1 team is supposed to do to ANY D2 team. Destroy them.

Exactly. Wesleyan is a good D2 program and the Cats did what they were supposed to do plus more IMO.

You can't have a team that is full of players that cannot make shots. Athleticism is nice in track and field.

I'm loving that Pope talked about the "three wise men" (my words, not his) of Perry, Noah, and Chandler are already being counted on to be here for a few years and lead Kentucky.

Those three guys are going to be the glue guys on the roster after this year. All three can ball. All three can shoot. All three will be leaders.
