Cool, but we wouldn't have been down 27 at any point.
Name me another game where we were down by 23 at halftime. You can't.
I'm not going to tell you how to fan, I hate it when people do that to me, so be mad, let off some steam, whatever, but this team is a lot better with Butler

90 to Mississippi State.

82 to Georgia.

85 to Ohio State.

102 to Alabama.

What game did Lamont Butler shut down the other team's offense?

What game were we ever close to being down by 20, 23, 27?

Obviously this team is better with butler. Every team is better with their point guard. That doesent mean u can’t ignore the fact that the defense has sucked all year long

Very fair take and I agree, this defense has been unacceptable all season and it has steadily gotten worse as the year has gone on.

We have all discussed it on here ad nauseum, but I feel better knowing Pope is the head coach. He actually cares about winning and after tonight, I feel like he will do something about it. He's definitely bothered by it.

We have some great wins and we shouldn't forget about those wins. I just think it's fair to say we don't get destroyed like this if LB plays. We really needed a pg last night and we didn't have one. Perry actually did okay.

Last thing. We were down 27 and Ole Miss was trying to make it 37, our guys got it down to 11 and our defense did wake up to make that happen and Amari Williams played great. Hopefully the team and Pope learns from this and really gets aggressive on defense from here on out.

If Pope didn’t realize the defense had to change after the first 22 games I don’t know what last night could have done in his mind to change that. It’s been glaringly bad literally every game this season.
