Congrats to North Carolina's players, seem like good kids. That said, the officiating through the tournament has been horrible and culminated in a national embarrassment for the sport tonight. I don't know about bias or anything like that, usually side against conspiracy theories. But I've never seen a team benefit more from favorable calls, game by game, from the Round of 32 through the championship game, than this UNC team.
Berry trucked Arkansas at a pivotal moment. No call. Arkansas would have had the ball down by one.
Fox, Monk and Bam all out of the first half for extended time on questionable calls, plus bad no calls when Fox and Bam had the ball.
I didn't think it should have been a foul on Meeks against Oregon but many of you did.
And tonight the fourth fouls on Collins, the traveling call on Williams-Goss, the miss of Meeks' hand on the out-of-bounds line were just some of the more egregious examples.
