With our depth. that would be to our advantage I would thinkIf its SEC officials be prepared for a whistle fest.
Why? he has no problems with Pope. Gotta remember Cal got all the refs to hate him before he even got to UK.I better not see Doug shows
He grew up a Louisville fan. That, at minimum, shows bad judgment. Why? he has no problems with Pope. Gotta remember Cal got all the refs to hate him before he even got to UK.
Because he is a bad ref regardless. He lets the home crowd influence his calls way to often. Why? he has no problems with Pope. Gotta remember Cal got all the refs to hate him before he even got to UK.

And in a game where we were only down by 2 points with one second remaining, I wonder if the inconsistency mattered enough to affect the outcome. In this case, despite our struggles, I would say yes. It’s something when you see a certain ref’s name and pretty much know there will be “what ifs” afterward….I thought the officiating was pretty inconsistent all night….
A lot of things could contribute to a loss when it's a 2 point game with seconds remaining. We missed point blank shots at the rim, we missed wide open 3's, we missed 7 free throws and we let a chubby white dude out hustle us for 20 rebounds. However, some of the inconsistent calls also had an effect as well. How many times did Scheiffelin throw a shoulder into Amari when he was trying to post up on the block? How many flops did their players do that refs fell for it and called a charge? How many times were our guys bodied on drives to the basket that didn't get called but did on the other end? This game was full of what ifs.And in a game where we were only down by 2 points with one second remaining, I wonder if the inconsistency mattered enough to affect the outcome. I saw the exact play not get called on different ends. I'm actually curious to find it in the replays. Williams, maybe Garrison, was backing down against a smaller guy. Guy flops, offensive foul. Other end Schieffelin backs down Oweh, Oweh flops. No call. Just blatant inconsistency like that should put their job in jeopardy. I get they are ACC refs and refs have always been biased, but if you can't be bothered to even appear fair you don't need to have the job.A lot of things could contribute to a loss when it's a 2 point game with seconds remaining.
