Yeah Cats played bad. Ole Miss played great.
Does not excuse the rec league quality reffing. That was bushleague garbage.
Reading comprehension. No one in this thread "blamed" the refs. Read more, post less.Originally posted by Jamal Mercer:

Grow the F up.
Ole Miss played a great game and we didn't.
Who the F do you think you are? They were terrible, on our court. We deserve better officials than that.Originally posted by Jamal Mercer:

I missed your 4th example because I didn't see the whole game but agree 100% with the other three. I can at least understand the call against Ulis. He was close. But, the first two were completely inexcusable.Originally posted by K-Town Kat:
Missed a blatant basket interference.
Took 3 full timeouts to say a guy's foot was on the line when I saw it right off the bat.
Phantom foul on Ulis when he wasn't within 6 inches of the guy.
A double foul that made ZERO sense. If you say the screen was an offensive foul, then the 2nd foul on the defender never happened. The two fouls didn't occur at the same time. So the one that occurred first stands, the second has to be waived. That's just common sense. Only way a true double foul can occur is if the two different contacts literally occurred at the exact same time. Not an illegal screen, a few dribbles, then a hand check.
Ole Miss played outstanding but the above calls mentioned should NEVER occur with a competent collegiate crew.
Yep. The double foul has to happen simultaneously. Otherwise, the first foul creates a dead ball, and a common foul like that doesn't happen during a dead ball period.Originally posted by K-Town Kat:
