RAM takes box score stats to create a single, clean performance score - carefully balancing efficiency, volume & per minute impact to make a metric that looks and feels like basketball. A player’s performance for the event is graded on a scale from 0 to 1000+, using the box score as the foundation as it is the base unit for objectivity - needing just a college-style box score from every game of an event allows our suite of metrics to reach all levels of the game, from u15 FIBA to the NBA finals - and everything in between.

C-RAM takes the RAM score & contextualizes it within the event - as RAM is total overall performance, C-RAM is performance compared to the average performer. Grading a
player against the average performance for an event offers immediate contextual insights, across all varieties of talent levels & ages. C-RAM displays quality in a quick, easy to readformat, with scores ranging from 0 to 10+.

Antonio Reeves: RAM = 674, C-Ram = 9.7 (2nd highest on Kentucky/Illinois State besides Oscar in both). 20.1 PPG, 47% FG%, 3.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 29% usage, 3Pt Eff. 84, 39%, 58.5% True Shooting %,

Kellan Grady: RAM = 571, C-RAM 8.3, 11.4 PPG, 45% FG %, 2.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 60.6% True Shooting %,

Basically, Cerebro Sports uses analytics that are able to compile all players and performances into one big pool based on the national average, so there’s no take away from the player/team based on level of competition. It’s all weighed together.

Reeves is about an equal three-point shooter to what Grady was coming out of Davidson. He takes a lot of outside shots which is good for this jump because, while he’s much better at getting to the rim and mid-range than Grady, he won’t be able to do it as consistently (will still be good at it) at Kentucky. He’s used to taking outside shots and is better shooting off of the bounce than Grady was. Grady at his best from the outside will be a better catch and shoot guy than Reeves.

Both are about equal on defense. Reeves is more of a guy who “can go get you a bucket”.
