Yea, lots of people on here seem really well adjusted. Reed had on both Ark (coach) and UK (Alma mater) gear. It’s ok for him to want both his former coach and his former school to do well. I don’t like it but it’s NOWHERE NEAR as big an issue as some of you folks are making it out to be. It’s kinda pathetic, to be honest.

I was dead serious. Every single one of those ex players who wore ark gear or ran their mouth last night can EAD. They may as well had played at Duke. When they can’t get picked up by a gleague team it’ll make me laugh. I don’t feel one bit bad saying it either.

The Hagans deal is comical also. He claimed he said it because we disrespected his coach. Funny he didn’t have that same respect for his coach when he played here, quit on the team and was getting booted off the team had covid not ended the season.

Oh he’d definitely get very audible boos if he showed up tomorrow. Read twitter. A lot want a pound of flesh for what he did. Some of the most angry are ones who have little kids who Reed was their favorite player and the kids don’t want anything to do with Reed anymore. I read one father saying his young son had his room of Reed stuff and that after yesterday the kid have taken it all down and threw it away.
I’m beyond glad I didn’t grow up in this era where most of the athletes are dumb as a box of rocks and have a platform to share all their insight to the world anytime they want. I’d probably been sick of sports by the time I was 16.
If you want to support Cal and were a former UK player of his here, wear a damn Calipari Kentucky shirt. Made all kinds during his tenure here. Simple as that! I'm sure deep in my closet and storage there are probably some I still have packed up. People associated with UK or any fans who actually still support him don't have to wear Arkansas gear to do it. You make it about yourself and everybody 'look at me' drawing attention when you do that.
Those guys won nothing and will be working at the mall in a few yrs anyways, no one remembers them so they have to run their mouth to be relevant. You can support your coach without dissing your former school and with class but these guys need attention. Where are they anyways? I had truly forgotten about all 3 & can remember when guys that played uk would always be able to come back to lex and someone would be willing to give them a sweet easy nice paying job.

I'm not surprised by too much in sports and with gambling these days. That being said, Cal really went to bat when that kid did a lot to hurt the team when he was at Kentucky. So I understand why he'd be loyal in return.
Of the entire list mentioned above, I am fine with banning Davion Mintz from Lexington as I would've been when he actually suited up here. Never could stand his game but each to their own. LOL

Lol, these guys who are career G-leaguers are the ones "supportin my coach". None of these guys, including Reed are even on NBA rosters. And if they are, they're reserves. Notice how the big time UK stars all rep UK first. Not Cal. Well, except PJ Washington.
When Cal was here, he sold all the players that his job was to get them a job playing in the NBA. All the top tier guys that are established in the league have figured out that they were going to be there anyway and that Cal is a well meaning snake oil salesman who did help, but so did a lot of other people, so they had no need to say anything. The G leaguers, cup of coffee and over seas guys were definitely helped by the exposure at UK (Cal) so there’s that. Which group Reed will be in is still undetermined. I’m disappointed in him but we have to remember that social media does amplify the negative.

Absolutely right. Cal is a poison ... an infection that will suck the life blood out of any program. The irony is that the University paid him to do it and gave him contracts that should get the AD fired.
Good point. You would think Jeff would have taught Reed the difference between right and wrong. Your point also illustrates the very core of WHY Calipari is a fraud and carpetbagger. Calipari only promoted himself and not the University and these stupid players, believing they were worthy of OAD status, hungered to believe Cal's bull shit. Point in case ... TyTy Washington and Davion Mintz. Cal was failing from the top down and couldn't recruit elite players any longer. We end up with marginal players believing the delusion and running their mouths at BBN. Relationships severed with BBN just as whatever professional opportunities they had will too be ending very soon. Too bad they don't have an alma mater to come home to in the years to come.

The animosity comes from Kal ruining the program for the past decade all while stealing millions. I hate him with a passion and I’ll never let that go. He didn’t just cost UK multiple titles, he went out of his way to do so with crap like playing terrible lineups because of his vendetta with the fans. Everything he did was to try and prove his way was the right way, no matter how many losses it caused. Lazy, egotistical and spiteful are not the qualities you want in a coach and those were his only qualities.
G-League Star ... Sounds about right for Cal's last five years of OADs. LOL.
