Despite what some think...we don't know if any of these freshman are/will be ready.Unless they aren't ready and then we are screwed.
Reed may end up being better than Dillingham and Wagner. He looks to be a better shooter already. They are all freshman so it's yet to be determined who's the better player.I don't get why some fans are acting like Reed is some bum that if he wasn't from Kentucky, would be lucky to have a P5 scholarship.
I hope to see Reed & Thero get all the mins they can stand. Both guys work hard. Thero should've played much more than he did last year.
Well Grady and Reeves sure as hell weren't ready in the last two Champions Classic.Despite what some think...we don't know if any of these freshman are/will be ready.
Not far off. Look at 247 sports ranking, best in the business.I don't get why some fans are acting like Reed is some bum that if he wasn't from Kentucky, would be lucky to have a P5 scholarship.
Composite rankings are best. Not far off. Look at 247 sports ranking, best in the business.
I agree with you. And I think Reed will be well prepped due to his father. I think his work ethic along with bb IQ will be high. I am looking forward to watching him play and I think he could be as good as the others that are always talked about...at least I hope so. He is the one of the few bright spots for me in this dark time for UK basketball.I don't get why some fans are acting like Reed is some bum that if he wasn't from Kentucky, would be lucky to have a P5 scholarship.
There is little doubt that Reed was prepped well by both his mother & father. He seems to have always held his own against the top competition. I just hope that he gets a fair shake at playing time. I don't trust this used car salesman of a coach to give him a fair shot since he will be a fan favorite, a Ky kid, and his father played for UK.I agree with you. Don’t insult freshmen.. those guys choked at every critical momentWell Grady and Reeves sure as hell weren't ready in the last two Champions Classic.
Both of those Seniors played like freshmen first time under the bright lights.
Where are you seeing that? Am I somehow missing it here? I don't see anything negative about Shepp on RRs. In fact, seems to the the opposite. I believe many here would start Shepp if they could.I don't get why some fans are acting like Reed is some bum that if he wasn't from Kentucky, would be lucky to have a P5 scholarship.

Are you talking about the Grady that had to crawl to the bathroom his feet were so bad?Well Grady and Reeves sure as hell weren't ready in the last two Champions Classic.

They weren't used to playing in an AAU offense.Well Grady and Reeves sure as hell weren't ready in the last two Champions Classic.

I think the fans already love Shep because we feel like he is coming here for the love of UK. The others are coming here so they can get out as fast as possible.Where are you seeing that? Is he any good?Another option just became available but Kentucky won’t try or won’t get him, but that other guard at Rutgers just entered the portal
I agree with you as everything i have read about Reed is that he has a very high BB IQ and is not afraid to put in the work. He may surprise a lot of fans.I agree with you. He is a good facilitator and helps set up others really well, and a good team guy, not a great shooter, he is probably staying in the big tenIs he any good?

Well I stand corrected lol. This has to tell you they know think/know reeves is gone. Like every other player this offseason will Kentucky even go after him very hard or will NIL again be the factor that keep them from getting him
Awesome let’s go hard here for a nobody and strike out again.
I seen somewhere NIL wasn’t a factorWell I stand corrected lol. This has to tell you they know think/know reeves is gone. Like every other player this offseason will Kentucky even go after him very hard or will NIL again be the factor that keep them from getting him
I would swap Onyenso and Cyril, but mostly agree with restIf we get the three Frsshmen we are after right now, I see the minutes looking something like this:
G Dillingham(30)/Wagner(10)
G Wagner(20)/Sheppard(15)/Hart(5)
G Edwards(30)/Thiero(5)/Burks(5)
F Bradshaw(30)/Thiero(10)
F Cyril(25)/Onyenso(15)
Sheppard and Thiero will both get around 15-20 minutes each, most likely. I expect by the end of the season Burks and Hart will be out of the rotation and Sheppard, Thiero, and Onyenso will be the bench players in an 8-man rotation. Cyril and Onyenso may also get closer to a 50/50 split, but I think Cyril has the more college ready physique, so I am leaning toward him starting and getting slightly more minutes.
I think Wagner plays 35 mpg easily, barring foul trouble. If we get the three Frsshmen we are after right now, I see the minutes looking something like this:

You know who ant wright is, he had a Rutgers guy on his spaces on Twitter and they were talking about nil being a factorI seen somewhere NIL wasn’t a factor
He is a good piece if you are solid at the other 4 spotsI mean this guy isn't even that good. How much NIL is he worth to people?
If it is then you can count us out lolYou know who ant wright is, he had a Rutgers guy on his spaces on Twitter and they were talking about nil being a factor
They were hinting at big ten teams like Illinois and Michigan or IU so Kentucky is probably out anyways. Idk why Kentucky doesn’t reach out to trey Woodbury. He is the best of what’s left. Good shooter and can’t hurtIf it is then you can count us out lol

The highlight video and his posted stats don't tell the whole story.I mean this guy isn't even that good. How much NIL is he worth to people?
Easily?I think Wagner plays 35 mpg easily, barring foul trouble.
