But he came up with some steals in overtime to help the team. Cal has got to get him more than 1 shot in a game.
That is the real question, why did he not take any shots. Normally shooters like to shoot especially after the start he has had.Doubt Cal said "don't shoot" after that 25 point game.
Yup. Reed scored 25 points in the last game. He'll never get open with Cal coaching.Cal doesn't " get " people more shots. Cal runs no set offense. Reed will never be in an offense like his dad was when he had pick after pick set for him. In Cal's " offense " if you can't create your own shot, you're screwed
I thought he played great defense tonight. The response from the team coming together at the end says it all. I think we're way to focused on who is starting and what not. Reed struggled mightily on defense today and persevered when given his shot at the end. Cal also made the right call and took out Reeves when he did a poor job on the switch in OT.

Kinda fishy if you ask me.That is the real question, why did he not take any shots. Normally shooters like to shoot especially after the start he has had.
Meanwhile Cal’s fanboys telling us how great Wagner was in a game where he was the most inefficient offensive player on the court and played hero ball throughout. But he came up with some steals in overtime to help the team. Cal has got to get him more than 1 shot in a game.
He got absolutely torched through most of regulation. Bad games happen and it showed maturity on his part to come back and perform the way he did in OT.I thought he played great defense tonight.
I think he made a concerted effort to get Wagner going and it worked. Also when Reed had that steal and turned it over Wagner was the first person to hug him. These players get along and don’t care who scores. I love that. We have more problems with them than they do with each other. The response from the team coming together at the end says it all. Sand bagging to not go pro right awayKinda fishy if you ask me.
He will improve, he has great instincts but everyone got burned and a lack of shot blockers is the cause for some of it. Not communicating on switching is another, I’d love to see us not switch while the bigs are out.Reed has problems on D when the other team is in their haft court sets . Idk how many times he got burnt.

I agree completely. Every year we seem to manufacture some sort of drama between the players. The end of OT was super encouraging to see the comradery.I think he made a concerted effort to get Wagner going and it worked. OK.Meanwhile Cal’s fanboys telling us how great Wagner was in a game where he was the most inefficient offensive player on the court and played hero ball throughout.
He should never be taking 17 shots.

He had those steals at the end, but earlier he was a step or two slow on their guards. That is the real question, why did he not take any shots. Normally shooters like to shoot especially after the start he has had.
Yup and the fact we never gave up, we actually played a good overtime for once.I agree completely. Every year we seem to manufacture some sort of drama between the players. The end of OT was super encouraging to see the comradery.
Can you read?Yup. Reed scored 25 points in the last game. He'll never get open with Cal coaching.
i agree 100%, although Bradshaw isn't supposed to be a shot blocker hopefully his size and athleticism will be enoughHe will improve, he has great instincts but everyone got burned and a lack of shot blockers is the cause for some of it. No, dumbass. I'm responding to you on a message board, but I can't read. Can you read?
Just having rebounding size will fix about 30% of our defensive issues IMO.i agree 100%, although Bradshaw isn't supposed to be a shot blocker hopefully his size and athleticism will be enough
Than you either know nothing about basketball, or you have reading comprehension problems. I'd guess a little of bothNo, dumbass. I'm responding to you on a message board, but I can't read.
I "no" nothing about basketball.Than you either no nothing about basketball, or you have reading comprehension problems. I'd guess a little of both
and our offense rebounding, tbh i think if we fix that and hit a good portion of our free throws we will be really good.Just having rebounding size will fix about 30% of our defensive issues IMO.
This game should have been a walk in the park but as frustrating as it might be for the fans, a tight game may help them down the road. But I'm still giving Calipari a 'D' for tonight.Yup and the fact we never gave up, we actually played a good overtime for once.

Yes we will, Mitchell is a great player but he’s no rebounding/Paint protector.and our offense rebounding, tbh i think if we fix that and hit a good portion of our free throws we will be really good.
Yeah. We just gave up way too many offensive rebounds. There were other issues, but take away the 2nd opportunites and that game isn't close.Just having rebounding size will fix about 30% of our defensive issues IMO.
