It remains to be seen how they turn out as a whole but I'm very encouraged by everything I've read about them so far. I thought we signed five absolute studs in Conrad, Big George, Westry, Brown and Walker. Everything I've heard through camp so far seems to confirm that. I thought King was a perfect fit for this offense and Richardson and Greenwood bring great size and ability at WR. Even the lower rated guys like Josh Allen, I watched his highlight tape and was thinking why is this guy not more highly recruited? He is perfect for our Jack LB. I remember on Signing Day Vince Marrow said we lost a lot of guys at the last minute but we may have replaced them with even better players. I don't think that was coach speak. This is an impressive looking group!

Agreed. Every one of the names you mentioned should eventually start (three are probably going to start this year as true freshmen), though, with King and the two WRs, it might not be until 2018. I think Daniel will also be a stud, and there are also several other guys who could become major contributors down the road.

Underrated by who? It was a very solid recruiting class that filled a lot of holes. In recruiting you win some, you lose some. For a program that has won 7 games in 2 years, Stoops has recruited remarkably well. You can only imagine that bowl eligibility this season will escalate momentum on the recruiting trail and going into 2016.

Freddie said he thought this class was better than the barker class. Won't get the publicity because of guys like barker and boom will put up trcmo bowl #s. A bunch of these freshmen on the D side will play on Sundays though. Add in GAA and conrad on O and that is bunch of high class talent.

It was underrated by a lot of posters on this board. There were lots of bad moods around that time, with Harris going to Alabama, six losses to end the season, and a few defections from the class. And unfortunately a few people were kind of taking it out on the class that we did have, which was not only rude but increasingly appearing to be inaccurate.

I can't believe I forgot about Daniel. He may be my favorite signee. That kid is a freak. Alabama really wanted him!

Fair observation. What this class was lacking in hyped skill position players it made up for by meeting needs. I think the ending of the season combined with losing Harris and the other late defections did create some pessimism. But, that's pretty much the nature of fan bases; nobody likes to lose at anything, whether that's on the field or the recruiting ranking game.

Daniel won't be here until the 16 class, enrolling early I believe. But, while on the subject, the 16 class is also vastly underrated IMO. These coaches know their talent, and the stars/offers are both kept down by the early commitments, a specialty of these coaches that find talent before the other coaches do.

We're just now starting to see how good Stoops first class was. Have absolutely no idea about the latest one. Regardless, if a freshman can come in and start then you have added good talent that will develop even further.

I think that they were referring to Kengera Daniel, not Kash. At least that was what I am thinking, I know Alabama offered him

The staff said this last class was underrated. Based on their ability to evaluate talent, I have no reason not to believe them.

It was a small class, made smaller by a few guys that never made it to the fall semester. By my count, 16 of those guys were (jucos) or currently are in the two deep.

Don't forget about Derrick Baity he's been repping with the first team as well. He's looked very good and can play any of the 5 positions in the secondary. Will Jackson may redshirt because we've built up pretty good depth at corner now with Baity, Westry, and Randolph but Jackson has looked good running with the first and second team. He will easily outperform his low 2 star ranking

Yes, Kengera Daniel. 6-5 260 and built like a Mack truck and can move. He will be a beast, maybe this year.
