This sucks for Bama to be sure, but we have our own problems. I doubt UK even sniffs a chance at getting guys like this.

ODdem was a TE in HS and from the same one as JuJu Lewis played. They will be playing for 6 A state championship on one of these days next week. Dec. 16, 17, 18. Yes Mon, Tuesday and Wed, I am guessing Arther Blanck has something going on Fri and Sat in the Benz.

Bama recruits over about everyone about every year , if only for the sake of competition. Being down on the depth chart there isn’t always indicative of ability. Plus , Milroe runs a lot …taking some opportunities away from WR

As a secondary Bama fan, I’m not sure Law is really much of an upgrade for us. He’s basically a bigger, more physical version of Barion Brown. Runs really fast, and can set blocks on the edge with his size, but extremely suspect hands and route running.

Odom is more of a wild card since he’s only one year removed from elite recruit status. He didn’t play much this year, but there have been some whispers that he didn’t transition smoothly the wide receiver after being more of a tight end in high school. May be worth rolling the dice for someone, but he’s not necessarily guaranteed production. I’m also not sure he’d even consider Kentucky.

I can’t imagine if they want targets they would look at UK. If it’s solely money maybe you can pick one guy off but seems like culturally those are the guys we need to avoid.

This guy could be a Cummings type hybrid TE in Coen's offensive set. Maybe we could blend those things in with who/what we have now. We need to utilize that position better, but we also have a TON of openings now.

From here on, every single year, most every player will be in the portal. Doesn't mean theyre all going to leave but most will. Teams will have to hope they can fill those spots with a comparable talent.

This is just how its going to be until someone comes to their senses and puts some reasonable rules in place. This just isnt sustainable in football. Its borderline unsustainable in basketball, but at least there you probably have 5-7 guys not over 50 slots every year.

This is the only true thing you typed here. I AM definitely in the minority. I supported Brooks when he came in start to finish. Did not support the coach in waiting thing that was pushed on him. I dropped my season tickets when Joker was in the process of bottoming us out. Not "allowing" us to continue to do so. DID support the hiring of Stoops, though with some criticism, through 3 poor years and into 8 straight bowls and two, 10 win seasons.

I enjoyed the 2018 season thoroughly, and predicted it accurately. Enjoyed the 2nd, 10 win season, but didn't like (and voiced as much) some trends that were continuing and cropping up, like over dependence on the portal and diminishing developmental focus. I've voiced my frustrations with this staff the past 3 years.

At least you admit you only have "a semblance of a brain" when it comes to college football. That's a good place for you to start.

10 wins at UK is insanely rare. Doing it 2x is crazy and so rare no one else has done it. Only someone with barely "a semblance of a brain" would try to diminish that accomplishment as not "winning big" at UK. Or "ANY any school" for that matter.

People make mistakes and this staff has gone away from what was working for them. No question. They have a season to improve, and if they get back to winning football, they might have another. Odds are against them right now, though. They have a lot to fix.

I'm very sorry that you were in a coma in 2018 and 2021, and that he didn't sign your bottle of bourbon, or that his team didn't cover the spread for you a time or 5. I hope you get over it.

Lot of lightly recruited OL in lesser conferences that have gotten much better and stronger in college , now looking for a payday as a jr or sr. I’d love a couple of those
