I went with sweet 16 but they will be hard to do. It’s really hard to predict. Nothing is a guarantee in the tournament.

. I will be sweating that Troy came all week.

I will be very much relieved if we beat Troy on Friday night. I will be ecstatic if we win our second round game. I will be astounded and probably rendered speechless if we make it into the Elite Eight. If we make it into the Final Four, I'll try to find some high ground and start looking toward the east. The last time a miracle like that happened, three wise men rode in from the east on camels.

Go 'Cats !

Elite Eight. I think Tennessee is just a good match up for us and that’s why I have us going a round further than most. And once you’re in the E8 nothing can surprise me, so you can consider this a quasi F4 vote from me.

I’ll be over the moon to go to the Sweet Sixteen.

And if somehow we get to face Houston in the Elite Eight, I will be ecstatic. What a matchup. Our offense versus that defense would be fun to watch. Doubt we could knock them off, but it would be fun to watch them try.

I still think Sweet 16 is very realistic. I'm probably going to have us to the Elite 8 in the bracket just to be a bit optimistic.

And I know that it's difficult to beat a team 3 times in one year, but I actually like that TN game. I think we match up well against them where some other teams don't.

Alabama had no problem beating us 3 times, I see no reason why we can't beat Tennessee again.
I worry more about the 2nd round. Hopefully we get X, but I'm thinking we will see Texas and they have a couple dudes

Sweet 16. Anything after that would be amazing but I don’t think we can beat Tennessee 3 times

Sweet 16

Beating Tennessee 3 times would be really tough. If everyone is healthy and playing well anything can happen.
Kentucky's mentality towards Tennessee and the proverbial "it's tough to beat a team three times."

We beat them by 11 with basically the same lineup we have now.
We beat UT handily in Rupp Arena with Butler scoring 6 points in 21 minutes and Andrew Carr (who was really struggling with his back at that time) with two points in a very ineffective 19 minutes. Carr is way better now. Defensively, Butler can prevent Zeigler from running wild and Collin Chandler has guarded Lanier well in both games. We actually match up with them quite well, much better than Bama and Auburn and Florida.

I believe a lot of people on here are underestimating Illinois. When healthy, they are very good. Probably a lot more talented than we are . Beating them would be a very good win .

this. Realistically, should we make the second weekend of the tournament, it would have been a good enough season considering everything that happened. Amazing we did as well, if it ends there, if you ask me. Future looks bright.

I do think we can beat Tennessee three times. It helps a lot that our team keeps developing, most recently in terms of defense, so that UT isn’t actually getting three tries to solve one problem.

We’re a whole new problem.

So I am saying Elite Eight. Which is what I said here October 15th. I still think that’s perfectly reasonable, even though I hope for more.

I'm picking the round of 32 only because of the injuries and the fact that if Butler goes down again it's probably not going to be a good day and all it could take is one hard foul or falling again on the bad shoulder. With that being said if Butler can stay in the game and we can get some meaningful play from the freshmen then it's the sweet 16 or even the elite 8.

I think our success hinges on Butler’s health.

If he is healthy, we could make the Sweet Sixteen, maybe beyond. If he aggravates his injuries, we might not make it passed the first round.

Really every one of our top 7-8 guys need to stay healthy, if we want a deep run, but Butler is critical. We have seen how tough it is to win without him.

He is the engine that drives us.

I think the Illinois game could be rough for us, they’ve been up & down all year and the perfect bunch to have an “it” night cause teams do that against us. But I really think beating Tenn a 3rd time would be extremely difficult cause they’re playing pretty good ball right now. Butler being back and playing 30+ mins/game would ease my mind though in the sweet 16 if we can get there.

I think that if we beat Tenn, we make it to final 4. Houston has won a ton of games in a row but they have been close wins and they aren't playing SEC teams. Actually Clemson may beat them first.

Illinois may not make it past Texas or Xavier.

Not sure. They are the wild card team of the tournament IMO. I feel like they can make it as far as the Sweet 16, are good enough to win the entire thing if they stay healthy, or an off night could take them out on Friday.
