It’s kind of crazy to think we are entering into a new era of UK basketball. I’m excited for the future. Got my tickets/flights ready for the UK/Zaga game in Seattle.
Our first game against Wright St is the day before the election. If the country does go off the rails, we’ll at least finish the season undefeated.
I'll be on vacation that week outside of the country on a cruise ship. If it burns ill avoid the mayhem.
I agree. I’m not much of a baseball guy, so I have been starving for sports since March. Hoping the football Cats can win 8 minimum and looking forward to seeing the Pope-coached Cats in action.

Would be great if BBall started right after football ended or started whenever it would finish right as football was starting; not a baseball fan so having a longer stretch of enjoyable sports would be ideal.
If I remember correctly the destruction happened when Biden won. I am a bit concerned of what they will do when Harris wins in November.

I am very excited for the upcoming basketball season. But I am also excited for the football season. Hoping we have a great sports year. Baseball started it all off. Now we get football. Hope this team does great. Would love to see us beat 1 or 2 of Ole Miss, Texas, UGA or Tennessee plus the other games most have us winning. That would be a put us at 9-3 or so. Would be a fun year. Basketball wise, I think we will be a very good team and will be much better than people are predicting. Go Big Blue!

I never like to discuss politics and I never say if I'm Republican, Democrat or other because someone will get pissed off and give you a lecture. The only thing I'll say is I'm worried for our country because of the two running for office. Out of 300 million citizens in the U.S., these two are the best we could come up with? Scary.

Not sure why we as AMERICANS (Together) all of us, have to put down one side or the other. I am not voting for Harris (last 3.5 years and I have much less money and more debt than before and being in sales am seeing all time lows, but also not sure I can vote for Trump either). That being said, no matter your view on Trump he had our economy in a much better place than biden or harris. We are extremely vulnerable now with what has happened over the southern border. Maybe most should start watching CBN or the Hot Zone to see what is really happening on the border and stop taking Fox, CNN or any of the news agencies that are trying to keep us fighting.
We need to stop this crap of telling someone you are this or that because you have a view different than mine. Arrogance is why our media and our government keeps us fighting. Keeps us looking and hurting each other while the crooks keep stealing the way of life we all want.
I literally shake my head when I hear people give trump credit for lower inflation and for better border policies when he put the kabash on the best border bill in the last 30 years, all for HIS gain. People forget Trump had atleast 4 bankruptcies, including a casino. He is one of the stupidest presidents we've ever had. Intelligence briefings went the route of pictures to see if he'd develop any interest in what they were saying and because he would never read the briefings on paper. I remember one story after Trump left office from an economic advisor who gave an update to Trump and many other officials in the room. He said Trump interrupted him several times and clearly had no understanding of two terms that are commonly used. He decided not to correct him but was really stunned by his ignorance. There are many of these kinds of stories out there, and easy to find on Google.

Again, missing the bigger point. It is amazing that tons of republican's and democrats hate trump, a political outsider. it is amazing (again did not vote for him the first time) that numbers do not lie, Obama economy in cincinnati (where I work) was horrible, trump turned it around, biden killed it again and you still defend. I live in Winchester, drive 1.5 hours to Fairfield OH work and then drive back home. Company car and company gas. So it is my time that it costs me to make that trip. Once gas went back up after we stopped production here in the US, (yeah it is good for the environment to make sure the US is not drilling but purchasing from other countries that do not have regulations like we do) but yeah we are doing our part. Or heck lets look at battery production and what that will look like. Again just as much carbon footprint to make all those batteries and such but you know we are cleaner and so forth.
The big thing is to stop bickering like that because we would go on until we both end up in the grave from old age as we see the world differently. The best most productive conversations I have ever been a part of was with many different views, Japanese, Russian, Egyptian, Indonesian and so forth all at the same table, discussing everything from politics, world views on energy, religion, peace and how to get there. Each of us at that table had about a 20 hour day fixing a problem for a customer and were wore out, had to be back at the customer in about 4 hours and decided to go eat and talk about anything but business. We did not solve the worlds problems but we sure had empathy for each others views, had respect to discuss things without hatred, name calling or anything like that. Heck we go together a few more times over the next several years and had similar conversations.

No judgement here, sorry if I came off that way. My 401k returns have been awesome for several years. Stock market has never been higher. We've never had as much domestic oil production as we do now. Do I think a president is responsible for this? Of course not. I'd really love to hear how Trump turned around the economy in one American city? Can I say Biden turned around the economy in my city? I don't say it because it is preposterous. You speak about a higher plateau of civility, which is noble, but you support a candidate that provides a daily cesspool of hatred, insults, and lies. Just read some of Trumps speeches, for five minutes forget who is saying it and concentrate on what he is saying. Get out of the tribal boat and look with clear eyes.

you have totally missed again. I started this out stating I am not voting Harris and not sure about Trump. I did not vote for him or hillary round 1 and am not sure I will vote from him round 2. I was raised Democrat, heck helped with larry hopkins camp way back when. My father was from eastern Ky and was democrat. Mother and sister are democrat. Dad and mom have left this world. My brother and I are both now registered republican as the democratic party is a failure. The republican is not much better. One thing for sure, I have been watching more and more vlogs from young democratic black men and women as I am a 60 year old white male. You know what, they are starting to see that parties we have now are doing nothing but causing this hatred. It is amazing that 24 year old college students can see this 2 party system has failed the American people for far too long. I am not supporting anyone in this race, i will vote just like I have since turning 18. I will make the best vote I can by my research, like I always have. I do not vote party and am republican as I am a Christian conservative man and try to have say so in primary. government is far too big for its britches and we as Americans keep wanting more laws to put us in smaller boxes so we cannot think for ourselves, speak for ourselves and so forth. State governments should be where most of the laws are passed and federal government should be there for the other things. No we want a government in DC to run our lives in KY, OH and so forth. Not what this country was founded on at all. We have gun laws to protect citizens from our government just as much as each other. i do not carry a gun and am capable of handling most situations without a weapon, thanks to a father and older brother that taught me how to defend myself, stop others that are doing wrong things like that. The issue is we have men and women that think congress and senate is a lifetime job. Not what it was meant to be. it was meant to be a service to our country. it is amazing that the only job in America where the employees can vote their own raises, healthcare and so forth is the government. OUR GOVERNMENT IS A TOTAL FAILURE. OUR MEDIA IS THE EVIL THAT KEEPS STIRRING THE DRINK. WE ALL CONTINUE TO FALL FOR THIS.
