Stoops almost flipped him in year one. Does anyone think we have a shot or would be interested in bringing him to Lexington?

I remember this guy. His name will always be synonymous to me with the rush of energy the Stoops regime ushered in right after his hiring. He was a pretty touted recruit IIRC...Top 250 Rivals. No clue if Stoops would still be interested but might be worth checking out.
Like another poster said, was a highly touted WR coming out of HS. One of the first high rated guys Stoops went after and got to come to UK on an official. Most knew he would stick with Ok State but was good exposure for the program to get someone like him to even consider UK at the time.
Not sure why UK would want him now. He could not get it done at Ok State so I highly doubt he can do it at KY. KY has so many WR's now I really do not see why you use a valuable scholarship on another WR who has not produced at the college level when there are so many WR in 2016 interested in UK and other positions of need.

You obviously have to take Samples if it is an option.
UK had to play 2 walkons at wide out last year. Take Samples as long as there isn't any discipline issues.
FWIW, Samples holds the OKstate 40 yard dash record.

if he were an immediate eligible jr or sr or a cant miss 1st round talent then i would be OK with it. we have a whole lot of talent in the jr, soph, and freshman class. if we had more roster spots on the team i'd be OK with it. we have 10 scholly wr's on campus (i think). we have 3 or 4 scholly wr's coming in (ross is already on campus but not eligible til next year). we lose 1 scholly wr this year. we dont have room unless its aj green or calvin johnson.
i thought that i read he was gonna take classes here but delay "playing football" til he finishes a semester. still don't understand it completely. dont think he can play this year but he can practice and go on scholly this year. but i could be wrong.
