Today was my swan song as a season ticket holder, not going to renew next year, although I imagine I will go to some games. If we ever get to be a decent team again, I may reup, but think I will sit out a season or two, just to see if I miss it.
So, just to be contrary, let me post some positives from today:
Even though I could not give away my 2nd ticket today, I did find a friend and his brother to sit with, which was nice.
I took too many clothes to CWS, and really the weather wasn't all that bad, I was very comfortable.
First half was great! I love the acoustics in the renovated CWS, if we ever have a real team (doubtful), it will be a loud place to play. Crowd was not full, but was really into it all the way into the 4th quarter.
Josh Forrest may be the only Joker holdover left on the team that actually improved under Stoops, he has become a good player and I hope he gets a shot at the NFL, I think he will.
Saw 80Proof at halftime, we both wondered where in the hell that UK team had been all year. But in the 2nd half, that same UK showed up.
Louisville fans were nice to us for a change. Do you think they feel sorry for us? I think so.
