I almost just made a post about the same thing. Had to rewind the game to make sure I heard him right. All the other players said their college.
No big deal, tons of players say their high school or neighborhood and all kinds of stuff.
Maybe, but he was I think the only player to say his high school tonight. Everyone else said their college. We’re a top-10 team in the country, not sure there’s a better time to show pride in where you played college football. I’m 100% taking it as a slight. I don’t get it
I almost posted as well after I watched the intro.... I've heard others mention high school or hometown, and to each his own, but I find it a bit strange not to mention UK with the career he had here.
Love Randall but his best days are long behind him. Kind of feels like watching an old dog limp around the farm.
Just to be different but is somewhat disrespectful imho….scholarships man.

I live about 2 minutes from Alcoa. Almost everything UK related in that city is due to Randall Cobb. There's an absolute ton of UK pride there because of him. It's not a slight in the least. He's very proud of where he came from and very proud to be a Wildcat.

Has said Kentucky in tons of Sunday Night Football intros in the past. Saying high schools and other teams players have played on is not uncommon. Not a shot at UK, but rather a homage to his high school. I live 10 minutes from Alcoa High and they are a solid program historically in the area. Cobb won 4 state titles for Alcoa. Nothing wrong with showing love to his hometown. Some of y’all have too much time to be getting worried or upset over this
Mike Edwards shouted out the University of Kentucky last Sunday night before the Tampa / Dallas game and backed it up with "pick 6 " today.

Yeah this is ridiculous. And those saying he was the only one to say his High school, that's an out right lie. Several players from both teams said their High school or hometowns, he was one of many, not an isolated incident.

Nothing but love for Mr. Randall Cobb. He’s used University of Kentucky in his player intros many times in his career. He came here when UK was building but was well below the heights reached now. And he still left it all on the field. Randall Cobb is a Wildcat for life!
Why doesn’t he like us anymore…Haven’t been able to sleep the last 5 or so months.
