Quickley drops 23 on Ball earlier today; Lavar Ball gets ref replaced, pulls team

I don't know exactly how many sons this dude has, but laws, I hope it's not many more. If we have to hear about another Ball for the entire college basketball season, I'm not sure it will even be worth watching. At least with the oldest Ball, the kid did have some actual talent to back up his dad's outlandish comments to the media. The sad thing is, I don't know if the other sons will have the talent to back up the dad's crazy during the season. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm so over the Ball family conversation. It got old for me during the first month of the basketball season.Thank God this man isn't the father of a real super star caliber player or watching any tv would be asking for too much.

Reality TV has officially taken over everything (unfortunately). And here I was hoping it would finally die off and stop showing up everywhere...oh well.

It turns out what many of us suspected was actually the case in regards to adidas/Big bawler

Sheesh, we just keep expanding our tolerance for classless behavior in America. Someone please get this dude out of the limelight. He's a disgrace to the game and is teaching those kids some pretty bad sportsmanship. So now they think they can just walk out of a game if the refs don't call it their way - that's what he's teaching (along with being free to slap and cuss at the refs). Pathetic idiot of a human that needs an attitude adjustment.

That is ridiculous. I want someone to come out and make a big deal of this on national TV, but all it does is keep the idiot in the limelight and extend his 15 minutes of fame. Adidas wants Lonzo to sign on with them so bad that they are willing to change the rules of the game for his dad. I would refuse to play in an Adidas sponsored event as long as that crap is going on if I had a team. I would play in the Nike sponsored AAU ones instead. Hopefully this causes some kind of a backlash against Adidas.

Oh, I thought Ball was a junior.

He will be, but he hasn't turned 16 yet. He's young for his grade because they moved him up to play a year with Lonzo.

I know we all like to crack jokes on the family and criticize the kids, but Melo is actually pretty damn good too.

He takes stupid shots and doesn't play much defense but anyone who has watched much high school basketball can see he does things not many 15 year olds can do. Don't know if he's Lonzo good, but he's a 5 star.

Would he do just as well against his competition if he was on a New York high school team? I know if your good your good. Just talking about the competition night in night out.

Chino Hills is one of those schools that play national competition. They play the big boys in California like Mater Dei but also play teams like Oak Hill.

Plus, he plays well and scores a ton on the AAU circuit. He's about as exposed and tested as a 15 year old player can be.

He shoots too many bad shots and doesn't play much defense but you can say the same for guys like Brandon Knight or Malik Monk or nearly every elite scoring guard ever when they were 15.
