I don't post much on this forum (generally just the Main Board) but read it regularly, and thought this was worth passing along.

In the new media age that permeates coverage of college athletics, specifically the influence and abundance of blogs, Twitter, and other easily accessible outlets to intake sports (and UK coverage), Cats Illustrated has done a tremendous job of making the transition to be more competitive.

I'm 23, and the above mediums would generally be the avenues of choice to read UK coverage. Being out of the state, true fans' thirst for news grows stronger and JR & the rest of the team have more than impressed me. I, possibly like many others, was on the fence about renewing my membership about two years ago because frankly it just wasn't worth the money to get information that everyone else had and regurgitated. When Justin was brought on things clearly changed, and those changes have only benefited what was already a quality site and board.

The content and collaboration is what I pay for, specifically War Room updates, basketball recruiting tidbits (as hard ass they are to come by) and general ramblings of JR that provide context for the college athletic landscape as it pertains to UK. Those things have all been tremendous and are only improving.

I understand that I'm probably in the demographic that has the largest percentage of customers who would not pay for this service because of our nature as a generation to gravitate to the easily digestible content, but I'll continue to pay for this coverage and am more than happy with how things have progressed. I'll rarely hop in a thread to provide a pat on the back for practice notes or a recruiting tidbit, but I always appreciate them and appreciate how hard this staff works.
