Question about football recruiting on defense

Just had a question about this football staff's recruiting on the defensive side of the ball. Looking at the projected players for next year on defense, I wanted to know, why does this staff seem to do well signing linebackers and secondary players that have good potential and have offers from many other power 5 schools, but seems to sign defensive linemen with less offers or who are more project type players? Is it because high level defensive linemen are much more difficult to sign, or is the staff not targeting enough high level linemen? Thank you for your answer.
