the system is dependent on tackles who are very quick and nimble. Without that you can't run it. That was the issue as I understand it. It all stems from the dominoes around Dare leaving before he was projected to. Then that worthless line coach that went to Bama.

I haven't seen anywhere he has said he is staying, transferring or entering the draft. He was the big reason Miami was expecting a big year. He got hurt, tried to come back and was reimbursed the first series, twice. His 21 season he would be the guy to go after, but 22 season was a disappointment. But a very good QB when healthy.

Yeah....Not sure if he's going in portal. Also, Miami is pretty open about paying dudes in this NIL world, so I'd guess that will make it less likely he'll enter portal if Miami wants him to stay they could just open the checkbook to entice him.

Yes, but if you heard the whole thing MS was mainly including all possibilities. When he said that my first reaction was that he didn't want to alienate our three QB's from having a chance at the job. Having to have a little depth, if handled wrong, you could lose a couple if not careful and you have little competition or depth. Expect a good QB to come in and compete for the starting job.

Beckwith. McClain showed some toughness and broke a few tackles against SEC defenses, so maybe he's changing his game a bit.
