KSR post game.

Yeah it was a really odd call. Matt shut it down relatively quick but it’s crazy that someone could even have that opinion as a top 15 team, 3seed, fighting through half the top 7 being injured
Probably an older fan that think that just because Pope came back we were going to be just like Rick Pitino led teams again and is disappointed we are not winning every game by 20+.

Yep, but the “let fans fan how they want to fan” lie got us here. Now, we have to pretend like that caller is a fan, when all of us know deep down they are not one of us
There’s a difference between being legit upset we lost some games we shouldn’t have. (Especially night of), being frustrated with the lapses of focus, criticism of Pope’s lineups, etc and calling us Vandy.

One is based in reality the other is not.

Absolutely agree

NINE Quad 1 wins for Kentucky now.

That's three more than Duke, two more than Houston, seven more than Gonzaga, four more than Iowa State, four more than Florida, five more than Kansas, eight more than UNC-CHeats...etc. etc.

I read comments on here last night and this morning about what a "lucky" win Oklahoma was and whining about how Kentucky struggled with a "bottom level" SEC team...

Anyone who can't appreciate a Quad 1 win at this stage of the season on the road, against a team desperate to play its way into the Tourney, with critical players still struggling to return to form is either ill-informed, a Terminal Chicken Little (the worst) or a troll...
Yes, we beat a lot of good teams. That is exactly why it is so hard to accept all of those losses against bad teams. Maybe they even out in the long run, but that just makes us average. Hopefully, a brighter future...time will tell.

This year's Kentucky team has beaten more top 15 teams than any other team in Kentucky history in a single season (so far) is this not right ? Were you disappointed BEFORE or AFTER this year started?

Ohio State is the ONLY team we have lost to that is not projected to make the NCAA tournament field at this point of the season. Texas or Arkansas still may not make it, but that looks to be the limit of so-called "BAD" teams to lose to.
We lost ROAD GAMES ... at Ole Miss, Vandy, Georgia, Texas, Clemson, Alabama. Are those all bad teams ?

I think you need to adjust what you consider BAD before displaying an obvious lack of intelligence and wisdom where the game of college basketball is concerned. At worst, one can say we lost to AVERAGE teams that we should have defeated, but when you take into account the injury situation, Coach Pope and the Cats have done admirably well.

But then again, so many on this board here are constantly disappointed and see everything as a glass half full. I keep saying people here need a healthy dose of perspective to see the season which we are on so far.

Great win last night. Determined effort, didn't give in when we played the last 4+ minutes back to being without Butler (fouls) and JRob to finish it off.

I swear so many people on this board need a serious adjustment in what they *think - and say* are bad teams.

Yeah but that Disappointed Cat account is just a fake fan anyway. Literally only complains.

No. He just saw what others saw; this team looked bad and struggled against a mid team. We've looked far better against far better teams. Folks can do all the mental gymnastics they want to justify last night, but Kentucky looked bad, bad. IMO. I'm a pretty positive poster, and like this team, but I know what I saw.
The only "mental gymnastics" here is saying that Oklahoma is some god awful team and we should have looked better.

It's an SEC Road game. This is the best the SEC has ever been. Oklahoma is a top 50 team in the NET. This isn't some sub 100 or sub 200 team. They're a fringe NCAA tournament team. And we had to play them on the road.

Road games vs decent teams fighting for their lives--get hard.

Robinson didn't really play in the 2nd half. Butler fouled out. Amari had foul trouble.

I read these posts all the time on here saying "This is Kentucky. No excuses. We find a way to win!"

And then I read this "winning on the road isn't good enough. We look bad."

Some of you can't be happy.

OU has scored on 9 straight possessions. Our defense is such dogshit

Insanely frustrating. This should be a 10+ point UK lead

So much for being good if/when Butler and Robinson came back.

This is a shitshow

Our defense is so effing pathetic

Arkansas is missing their two best players and killing Texas. Meanwhile we are yet again struggling with a team below us in the SEC standings.

This guy^^^^^^^
