Meh...there's another transfer I feel like from around that time frame that contributed...for some reason I thought Boom was a transfer...cause we've had so many of them...case in point I suppose...it happens so often I can't keep track of who came in via portal and who is an OG letter of intent recruit...

doesn't hurt to take him and see if new scenery will help him develop into what they thought he'd be coming out of High School, or he could be another Joey Gatewood who was vastly overrated. he's walking on so it's the best scenario possible to evaluate him without wasting a scholarship.

I think people are reading way too much into a transfer...

It's the era of transfer for crying out loud. Thank goodness for UK because our program has been turned around by transfers...SJ, Boom, Terry, Wandale, Levis...

We've also seen kids roll out too...even stranger than a backup rolling out is a starter rolling out...Patty Ice...Terry...

He's walking on, will probably RS so he's not threatening anyone's playing time right now.

Dusty Bonner, Kendrick Shanklin, Jalen Whitlow, Chad Scott, Neal Brown, etc.

I can’t see any scenario in which he plays for us. We’ll take the depth though.

You never know, Will Levis was used like a Wildcat QB at Penn State.

From what I saw from Iowa’s starter it looked like he couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn from 15 or more yards away.

This guy might be Peyton Manning Jr. if it’s Ferentz’ son that’s saying Deuce isn’t any good.

There was a time when us UK fans would think we were on top of the world landing a 4 star caliber guy only to be dissappointed. We actually just tried this experiment with Joey Gatewood most recently, but there was a time in the past when we signed two highly regarded QB's in the same class, Morgan Newton and Ryan Mossakowski. Neither panned out. Newton was the starter for a while but was pretty much awful from the get-go. Moss neverpanned out and ended up going the juco route after he couldn't beat out Newton.
