Publicly giving Cal credit. I got it wrong.

When he coaches a good game he deserves credit, just like he deserves criticism when he does a bad game. He coached a good game last night and should get credit for it
I'm leery of this auburn game.... auburn basically folded and chucked up shot after shot, did not remain focus on making baskets...did not get defensive stops....I mean we've been guilty of doing the same thing in past years against competition...Im happy we got the win, and it was arguably an important conference win too. I hope we can give the same type of effort against alabama.
Nice win for the Cats, Cal coached one of his better games of the season. Good use of time outs ,good sub pattern, had right players in the game at the right time. Can he string good coaching efforts together for multiple games?
Last night was really good. Lets hope we continue to build on it.
I told everyone that there was no way AU was going to win that game! Too many bettors licking their chops thinking UK was going to get blown out! “Vegas” doesn’t allow that kind of money to be taken.
Start paying attention, money controls key games.
Enjoying a win and believing the better coaching and preparation will continue are 2 different things.
I have watched the 1 step forward 2 backwards Calipari boogie for years now.

He did a GREAT job getting his team ready for this extremely difficult game and coached a good game . Now let’s build on it . It was very encouraging to see that he could still do it . It was reminiscent of the game at Kansas 2 years ago. It was however, 1 regular season game . We didn’t win the ncaa tournament last night or even the sec tournament. I’m encouraged though . Hopefully this isn’t like the Toby Keith (RIP) song . “I’m not as good as I once was , but I’m as good once as I ever was “ . We’ll see.
Last night Ky looked like what I imagined this team could be earlier in the season.
If the team we saw last night is who we are moving forward we could make a deep run.
Whether or not it was Cal not wanting to show his hand or just the way things have fallen into place, it appears they're peeking at the right time.
Ugo, and Theiro have given this team what they need to take care of business.
Now if we can just stay healthy!
Absolutely he does. We actually looked like we prepared for the opponent. Great, but shouldn't this be EXPECTED for a program of this caliber, not a surprise? I watched some of the LSU- South Carolina game last night. Regardless of their record, LSU is a solid well coached team that just executes and plugs away. Wednesday night will not be an easy game. Hopefully we don't revert.
This is hard on me, I really don't like the man period. I will give him credit as coaching the best game he has in years. I'm done and Cal you told us to criticize you and not the players. I will every time you fail to coach like you did at Auburn.
Yes u did. But if it was fixed, do u really believe the refs favored UK in this game?
Our team disrupted them. They expected a shoot out, they got a defense and were forced to deal with it.
If they play like that the rest of the season then you can back off. We will see what happens. Personally I am a little more angry knowing what they are capable of and Calipari just hasn't been able to get these performances out of them except for a couple of games.
